摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving separator capable of treating continuously and efficiently the accumulated water and the rust formed during the storage of crude oil, muddy water and the like or gasoline or diesel oil, and the method for separating impurities from the liquids for treatment, and to provide a device and a method for purifying the accumulated liquids within a tank using the separator and the method.
SOLUTION: The revolving separator of this invention comprises a main cylinder 12 equipped with an inner cylinder 13 and separates solid matter or liquids different in specific gravity through centrifugation by turning the liquid for treatment introduced between the main cylinder 12 and the inner cylinder 13. The main cylinder 12 is longitudinally arranged, on the upper end of which a liquid discharge outlet 14 to discharge the liquid after the separation process is provided, and at the lower end of which a discharge section 16 to discharge the solid matter and liquids different in specific gravity is provided, respectively. The inner cylinder 13 is equipped with a spiral baffle plate 21 on the outer circumferential surface, and the inner cylinder 13 is arranged such that a space 23 with the upper end closed is formed between the inner cylinder 13 and the main cylinder 12, and on the upper part of the space 23 a liquid inlet 25 is provided for letting in the liquid for treatment, and a clearance 24 is formed between the outer peripheral end of the spiral buffle plate 21 and the inner wall surface of the main cylinder 12.
