    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a valve from biting at a valve seat of a seated part in an opening/closing valve, and to suppress a drastic increase of a flow rate of a fluid flowing in an opening at the primary stage of an increase in area of the opening formed between the seated part and the valve seat. SOLUTION: In the opening/closing valve which is constituted in such a manner that a small diametral hole 77 and a large diametral hole 79 are continuously provided in a valve body 47 via the valve seat 81, and at the same time, a poppet valve element 51 having the seated part 87 capable of seating and separating to/from the valve seat 81 is freely slidably fitted and inserted into the large diametral hole 79 so as to make the space between the small diametral hole 77 and the large diametral hole 79 to communicate with each other or block, mutually the seated part 87 is made into a conical shape with a prescribed angle and the valve seat 81 is made into a stepped columnar shape, and at the same time, a flow rate regulating means (a variable throttle C), which is formed between the seated part 87 and the valve seat 81 and regulates the flow rate flowing in the opening at the primary stage of the increase in area of the opening in which the area is increased according to a separation degree from the seat, is provided.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the overall size of a hydraulic damper for vibration control by controlling the flow of working fluid between a first working chamber and a second working chamber by means of a single pilot-operated stop valve. SOLUTION: A pilot-operated stop valve 21 has in a valve body 47, a small-diameter hole 77 and a large-diameter hole 79 connected via a valve seat 81. A main valve element 51 with a seat surface 83 seated on the valve seat 81 is slidably fitted in the large-diameter hole 79. The small-diameter hole 77 and the large-diameter hole 79 are connected to a first working chamber 15 and a second working chamber 17 respectively At the back of the main valve element 51, an acting chamber 85 is formed, which is connected to the low-pressure side by a pilot passage 75 in which a pilot valve 55 is interposed. The main valve element 51 has a first pressure receiving surface S1 and a second pressure receiving surface S2 for respectively receiving the pressures of working fluid in the small-diameter hole 77 and the large-diameter hole 79 in the unseated direction. A restriction 61 and a first check valve 65 are interposed in series in a first connecting passage 62 connecting the small-diameter hole 77 and the acting chamber 85. A restriction 63 and a second check valve 67 are interposed in series in a second connecting passage 64 connecting the large-diameter hole 79 and the acting chamber 85.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic damper for damping capable of providing satisfactory damping action in the whole vibration external force region irrespective of strength of vibration external force.
      SOLUTION: This hydraulic damper for damping is provided with a pilot operation control valve 20 for large load opened and operated when vibration external force by which load exceeding a set value acts is large and an opening and closing valve 30 for small load arranged in parallel with it and opened and operated when vibration external force by which load less than the set value acts is small in an oil passage for connecting both oil pressure chambers R1, R2 formed on both sides of a piston 13 reciprocating in a cylinder main body 11. Opening and closing operation of each valve 20, 30 is controlled by a control circuit ECU in accordance with vibration external force, and vibration external force is damped by flow of hydraulic fluid through each valve 20, 30.
