    • PURPOSE:To mold hollow sealing part of a connecting part in a predetermined even thickness by a method wherein an inner core member is supported by pins so as to withstand against the pouring pressure of molding material. CONSTITUTION:Both the ends of an inner core member 5 are held so as to be inserted in the sealing parts 3 of both the terminals, which are to be connected together, under the condition that the terminals are faced to each other. Both the terminals, which are held as just mentioned above, are set in the cavity of a mold 6 so as to pour rubber material in the cavity for molding. In this case, pins 62, by which the sealing parts of both the terminals inserted by the inner core material 5 are pressed, are protrusively provided at the position opposite to the rubber material pouring side in the mold 6 so as to pour the rubber material in the cavity under the condition that both the ends of the inner core member 5 are supported through the wall of the sealing parts 3 by the pins 62 against the pouring pressure of the rubber material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip capable of preventing the seal ability external appearance and quality from degradation and the abnormal sounds from occurrence even if it is attached on a door device in errors. SOLUTION: A weather strip W1 is provided with a mounting base part 3, a hollow main seal part 4 and a seal lip 5. The seal lip 5 is provided on the proximal end with a rear surface seal lip 8 extending to the outside of a car and abutting against a door 1 on the tip side. The proximal end part of the seal lip 5 is disposed inside the car deeper than the rear surface seal lip 8. The seal lip 5 is on the tip side curved and formed in the inside of the car at least when the door 1 is opened. The radius of curvature of the tip end part is smaller than that of the edge part 9 of a car body 2. Even if the door 1 is attached with the deviation to the car body 2 side and car inside, the seal lip 5 is pressed to the car inside by the presence of the rear surface seal lip 8, and the tip end part of the seal lip 5 does not bulge out of the car outside, but rather enters the car inside to hard abut against an edge part 9.
