摘要： PURPOSE:To hold the normal shape of a rubber extrusion molded product even when there is no shape holding material required heretofore at the time of vulcanization and achieve the conservation of resources and cost reduction. CONSTITUTION:The unvulcanized weather strip 1 extruded from an extruder 11 is sent to a first vulcanizing tank 12 to be supported in the air and the surface part of the weather strip 1 is vulcanized in this state by the irradiation with the electron beam from an electron beam irradiation device 14 to stabilize the shape of the weather strip 1. Thereafter, the weather strip 1 is sent to second and third vulcanizing tanks 15, 18 to be placed on belt conveyor feed devices 16 and, in this state, the remaining part of the weather strip 1 is vulcanized by a microwave heater 17 and an electric heater 19.

摘要： PURPOSE:To mold hollow sealing part of a connecting part in a predetermined even thickness by a method wherein an inner core member is supported by pins so as to withstand against the pouring pressure of molding material. CONSTITUTION:Both the ends of an inner core member 5 are held so as to be inserted in the sealing parts 3 of both the terminals, which are to be connected together, under the condition that the terminals are faced to each other. Both the terminals, which are held as just mentioned above, are set in the cavity of a mold 6 so as to pour rubber material in the cavity for molding. In this case, pins 62, by which the sealing parts of both the terminals inserted by the inner core material 5 are pressed, are protrusively provided at the position opposite to the rubber material pouring side in the mold 6 so as to pour the rubber material in the cavity under the condition that both the ends of the inner core member 5 are supported through the wall of the sealing parts 3 by the pins 62 against the pouring pressure of the rubber material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run and its manufacturing method remarkably reducing design man-hours without causing defectiveness in fitting. SOLUTION: This glass run 1 is provided with extrusion-molded parts 2 and 3 and a die-formed part 4. The extrusion-molded parts 2 and 3 and the die-formed part 4 are provided with a body part 6 and seal lips 7 and 8. The body part 6 fitted into a sash is formed in approximately U-shaped cross section with a base part 9 and a pair of side wall parts 11 and 12. As to the extrusion- molded parts 2, 3, a pair of side wall parts 11 and 12 are formed in the developed state, while the body part 6 of the die-formed part 4 has approximately U-shaped cross section in the nondeveloped state, and this shape is hardly changed in the fitted state to the sash. In other words, there is no need to contract the side wall parts 11 and 12 corresponding to the die-formed part 4 when fitted to the sash, so that the angle, radius of curvature, circumferential length, and the like of the die-formed part 4 remain unchanged before and after fitting.

Even if the door 1 is attached with the deviation to the car body 2 side and car inside, the seal lip 5 is pressed to the car inside by the presence of the rear surface seal lip 8, and the tip end part of the seal lip 5 does not bulge out of the car outside, but rather enters the car inside to hard abut against an edge part 9.

CONSTITUTION:A molding apparatus is equipped with a head 5 for extruding unvulcanized rubber forwardly, the main die plate 6 having an opening part 10 arranged in contact with the front of the head 5, a movable orifice plate 8 and a molding roller 9, a plurality of material passages 20, 22, 23 are provided in the head 5 inclusive of a branch part material passage 23 capable of receiving pressure fluctuations. When pressure fluctuations are received in the branch part material passage 23, the pressure fluctuations are propagated to a steady part material passage 22 and sufficiently attenuated during the propagation to be suppressed substantially. A cylinder 24 and a piston 25 are provided on the way of the branch part material passage 23 and the content of the head 5 can be adjusted. Even when there are fluctuations in the area of an opening part, an emitting amt. is appropriately altered and flow velocity can be kept almost constant.

Thereafter, the leading end edge of a lip part is molded into a curved shape by the peripheral surfaces of a pair of the upper and lower molding rollers 9 and, at this time, the flash B disappears simultaneously. Therefore, the flash is not formed on at least the design surface of a weather strip.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a profile cross section part to be accurately present at a desired position with respect to the whole length and to accurately control the position of a profile cross section part even in a long article having no insert therein. CONSTITUTION:A manufacturing apparatus is equipped with an extrusion molding device 5, a marking device 6, a vulcanizing device 7, a cooling device 8, a taking-up device 9 and a cutting device 10. An unvulcanized weather strip is molded into a predetermined shape by the extrusion molding device 5 and the cross-sectional shape of the molded strip is appropriately altered by a movable orifice plate and a roller cutter. Before the roller cutter is inwardly moved, marking is applied in predetermined timing and, when the roller cutter is outwardly moved, marking is applied in predetermined timing and this operation is repeated. In the cutting device 10, cutting is performed on the basis of each mark to obtain a weather strip. Therefore, necessary length is obtained even when no insert is used and the accurate position of a profile cross section part can be set.
