摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power of a water pump through reduction of incurring of an energy loss by reducing the occurrence of turbulence friction resistance of a coolant at a circulation passage. SOLUTION: This cooling system comprises a main circulation passage (a main water passage 3) through which a coolant is circulated between at least the main water jacket and the radiar 4 of an engine 1 and opened and closed by a thermostat 5; and an auxiliary circulation passage (first and second auxiliary water passage 6 and 9) through which a coolant is circulated at least between the main water jacket and the heater core 10 of the engine 1. In this case, a high mole additive (polyethylene oxide) having a straight chain-form helical structure is added in the coolant.

In the cooling system, surfactant which can form a giant structure among plural bar micells is contained in the coolant.

SOLUTION: In an air conditioner provided with a compressor, a cooling circuit, a heating circuit and an operating fluid discharging means 190, the compressor is provided with a suction unit 116 and a discharging unit 121, the cooling circuit is provided with a condenser, arranged in a route from the discharging unit 121 to the suction unit 116, and a heat exchanger, arranged in the downstream of the condenser, the heating circuit is provided with a bypass passage from the discharging unit 121 to the heat exchanger and the heat exchanger while the operating fluid discharging means 190 discharges the operating fluid from the discharging unit 121 into the suction unit 116 when the discharging pressure Pd of the operating fluid has become a predetermined high pressure condition.

SOLUTION: There are arranged a compressor 101, an air conditioning circuit and two capacity altering means and the compressor 101 has an intake part 115, a delivery part 120 and a drive means 130. The two capacity altering means are arranged sequentially on the upstream side and on the downstream side of a path to a drive chamber 110 from the delivery part 120. In the cooling operation, one capacity altering means opens the path as an intake pressure comes down to a low pressure while the other capacity altering means always releases the path. In the heating operation, the one capacity altering means always opens the path while the other capacity altering means releases the path as a delivery pressure goes up to a high temperature.

SOLUTION: A compressor 1, a gas cooler 2 as heat exchanger for heat radiation, an expansion valve 3 as choking means, an evaporator 4 as heat exchanger for absorbing heat and an accumulator 5 are connected in series to form a closed circuit to perform an operation so that a high pressure side pressure of the closed circuit reaches a supercritical pressure of a refrigerant circulating through the closed circuit. Control characteristic is provided to raise a low pressure side steam pressure as the high pressure side pressure rises. The low pressure side evaporation pressure and the high pressure side pressure are detected separately and when a detection value of the low pressure side evaporation pressure is lower than a target value of the low pressure side evaporation pressure determined according to the detection value of the high pressure side pressure based on the predetermined control characteristic, a discharge capacity of the compressor 1 is reduced to let the low pressure side evaporation pressure reach the target value.

SOLUTION: A collection passage 20 to put a heat generating chamber 7 in communication with a storage chamber is formed in the body of a front housing and two partitioning plates 5 and 6. The passage 20 is arranged so that its center Y in the communicating direction is identical to a virtual center surface CP which divides a rotor 14 into two in its axial direction. Accordingly the opening of passage 20 on the side with heat generating chamber 7 has a uniform section area for the front L1 and rear clearances L2 of the rotor 14 in the chamber 7. The passage 20 extends from the mentioned opening to another opening on the side with the storage chamber in such a way as in line with a leadout groove 23.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce starting torque and feed a viscous fluid rapidly to a heating chamber after starting by making the level of the viscous fluid in a storage chamber changeable regardless of the opened/closed state of a recovery passage and a feed passage. SOLUTION: A diaphragm 30 is provided to partition a storage chamber SR into a storage area on the side of a feed hole 2c and a recovery hole 2d, and a non-storage area on the side of an atmosphere hole 2e, and the diaphragm 30 is fixed to a laterally slidable spool 31. At the time of an engine stop, an electromagnetic coil 34 is excited. Then, the spool 31 enlarges the volume of the storage area against the energizing force of a press spring 32, and silicone oil SO in the storage area is fed only in small quantity to a heating chamber 6 with own small weight based on the low level (h) so as to reduce starting torque. After starting, the electromagnetic coil 34 is demagnetized. The volume of the storage area is therefore reduced, and the level of the silicone oil SO rises and is fed in large quantity to the heating chamber 6 on the basis of the high level so as to attain rapid heating.
