摘要： PURPOSE:To produce the titled substance from carbon monoxide and hydrogen, by using C steel or low-alloy steel covered with Al and/or Cr as a material of the gas passage contacting with the gas at the upstream of the gas outlet of the catalyst container. CONSTITUTION:The titled substance is produced by contacting gas composed mainly of carbon monoxide and hydrogen with a catalyst under high temperature and pressure. In the above process, C steel or low-alloy steel covered with a material composed mainly of Al and/or Cr is used as the material of the gas passage contacting with the gas of >=100 deg.C at the upstream of the gas outlet of the catalyst container. The part to which the covered C steel or low-alloy steel is to be used is e.g. the piping for the transport of the gas, the heat-exchanger, the line upstream of the gas-outlet of the catalyst container, the gas compressor, etc. EFFECT:The number of parts made of a high-alloy steel is decreased, the initial cost is reduced, the undesirable catalytic action is prevented, and the environmental stress cracking is suppressed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To save a large amount of heat energy, subjecting hydrocarbons containing S to heat exchange with high-temperature hydrocarbons which are reformed or decomposed, desulfurizing the hydrocarbons containing S. CONSTITUTION:Hydrocarbons containing S preheated to 60-130 deg.C are fed from the line 1 to the heater 15, subjected to heat exchange with high-temperature hydrocarbon reformed or decomposed, heated to 290-315 deg.C, fed to the desulfurization device 3, and desulfurized. The desulfurized hydrocarbons are taken out from the line 4, blended with steam fed from the line 5, heated to 450-550 deg.C by the heater 6, fed to the reformer 7, and the hydrocarbons are reformed or decomposed by a fuel, air and a reforming catalyst fed from the lines 8 and 9 at 800-900 deg.C. The hydrocarbons are fed from the line 11 to the waste heat boiler 12, heat is recovered until they reach 320-350 deg.C, part of the reformed raw material is sent to the heater 15, and the greater part of it is sent tod the water supply preheater 14, and heat is recovered.
