CONSTITUTION:Fuel material 1 of natural gas, gas such as naphtha, etc., or liquid hydrocarbon, liquid alcohol, etc., converted into gas containing hydrogen 50 by means of a quality changer 7 to be refined by a refiner 9 until it substantially becomes hydrogen has, and this hydrogen gas is distributed to many fuel cells 21 installed far away from the quality changer 7 through a piping 15 or stored in this piping. Each fuel cell 21 is operated as much as necessary corresponding to a power demand by use of the distributed hydrogen gas fuel so that power is supplied. Thereby, it is possible to efficiently follow up s load fluctuation of power demand and display the efficiency of a gasification to a maximum.

    • PURPOSE:To miniaturize a reactor, and to obtain hydrogen with low content of carbon monoxide relatively easily, by dividing a contact zone of a mixed gas of methanol and steam and a catalyst into two, bringing the gas into contact with the catalyst under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:(i) A contact zone of a raw material gas consisting essentially of methanol vapor and steam and a catalyst is divided into two of the first contact zone 16 to bring the gas into contact with the catalyst 17 and the second contact zone 10 to bring it into contact with the catalyst 11, locating at the downstream of the zone. (ii) The temperature of the gas flowing into the first contact zone 16 is 170-500 deg.C, and the temperature of the gas flowing out of it is 250-350 deg.C. (iii) The temperature of the gas flowing into the second contact zone 10 is 200- 300 deg.C, and the temperature of the gas flowing out of it is 170-230 deg.C. The gas that is passing from the first contact zone 16 to the second contact zone 10 and the gas that is reacting in the second contact zone 10 are cooled by the counter current indirect heat change between the gas and the raw material gas. (v) A ratio of a molar fraction of steam to a molar fraction of methanol vapor at the first contact zone 16 is 1.0-2.5.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain reformed gas of stable composition by inputting a detection signal of flue gas in addition to a detection temperature signal of a catalytic layer to a controller while utilizing said flue gas temperature signal as an arithmetic correction factor of a burner calory regulation output signal. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detector 11 of flue gas is provided on a flue 3' of a furnace 3 in addition to the temperature detector 8 of a catalytic layer 4 while inputting these detection signals to a controller 9a for operating the temperature of flue gas as a correction factor for the temperature signal of a catalytic layer 4 while regulating an opening degree of a burner fuel feeding valve 10 by its output. When the flue gas temperature exceeds the proper value as compared with the proper value, a control signal of suppressing the opening degree of the fuel feeding valve 10 is outputted to throttle the feeding valve 10 or stop an increase in the opening degree even before the catalytic layer temperature reaches the set value. Thereby, the temperature of the catalytic layer 4 is regulated while smoothly following the set value thus to quantatively and constitutionally stabilize the reformed gas to be fed to a fuel cell FC due to the stabilized reforming and reaction temperature.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disturb the surface of a soln. to prevent the reprecipitation of overflowing magnesium hydroxide slurry and to uniformize the property of the discharged magnesium hydroxide slurry by supplying a part of the soln. discharged from the bottom part of a double decomposition tank to the outside part in the double decomposition tank. SOLUTION: In the double decomposition tank 1, the aq. soln. consisting essentially of the magnesium sulfate sent from an oxidation tank and a desulfulizing column of a desulfulizing system is reacted with a calcium hydroxide slurry to be converted to magnesium hydroxide and gypsum dihydride. On the other hand, in a slurry tank 2, a basic calcium compd. and water are mixed to prepare calcium hydroxide slurry. Then a part of the slurry discharged from the bottom part of the double decomposition tank 1 is supplied in circulation to the upper part of the double decomposition tank 1 and also the slurry in the slurry tank 2 is supplied to the double decomposition tank 1. An agitating means is disposed in an inner cylinder 3 of the double decomposition tank 1 so that the influence of the agitation is prevented to be applied to the outside part in the double decomposition tank 1 by the inner cylinder 3.
