    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaking-out preventive mat having the small thickness, and capable of easily coping with a step height of a mound.
      SOLUTION: This leaking-out preventive mat 19 uses an impervious sheet material 13 composed of a rubber material for securing imperviousness. A flexible and form retentive metallic material such as a wire net is embedded inside the impervious sheet material 13 as a reinforcing material 14. Since required strength and the imperviousness can be provided with such a structure, a thin and lightweight leaking-out preventive mat 19 can be formed. Thus, the leaking-out preventive mat 19 can be easily laid along the step height when the step height is generated on the mound needless to say in a flat part of the mound. As a result of this, installing work of a caisson is efficiently performed, and reliability in installation is also improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage after laying by permeating a composition among fibers under a stable state in the sheet material of a reticulate body consisting of fibers while covering the peripheral surfaces of yarn constituting a net and configuring the sheet material so that water can be passed while opening meshes. SOLUTION: A sheet material is dipped in a solution, in which a composition 10 such as a rubber, a synthetic resin, etc., is dissolved in a solvent, and the sheet material is passed through a drying furnace and the solvent is evaporated. The composition 10 existing so as to close the meshes of the sheet material is removed, and the meshes are opened at that time. The sheet 11 is formed by executing a vulcanizing process, in which heat is applied and the composition 10 is brought to a stable state. In the sheet 11, the composition 10 is permeated among fibers under the stable state, and covers the peripheral surfaces of the yarn. Accordingly, since the sheet 11 having large specific gravity and water permeability is manufactured, free settlement is conducted and the sheet 11 is laid quickly at a specified place at the time of laying, and the whole surface is brought into contact with a sea-bottom surface after laying, thus increasing a friction coefficient with an existing ground, then resulting in the contribution of the composition 10 to an improvement in rigidity and the inhibition of the displacement of the sheet 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover structure for a water storage facility, which is formed by supporting sheets on a water surface by means of buoyancy bodies floating on the water surface, continuously floating cover blocks by the support of the buoyancy bodies, and attaching deadweights to the buoyancy bodies at end areas of the facility, to thereby stabilize the cover structure due to hanging of the deadweights in water.
      SOLUTION: According to the cover structure for the water storage facility, the sheet material 1 having predetermined longitudinal and transverse dimensions, has the buoyancy body 2 arranged at least on one width side along the entire width, and further has a contact piece 3 having a predetermined length arranged along a peripheral portion thereof, to thereby form the cover block 5. Then the cover blocks 5 thus formed are successively connected together via their contact pieces 3, and floated on the water surface.
