摘要： PURPOSE:To perform the characteristic adjustment of a resonator in a short time by using a comparatively simple method by adjusting the cut-off frequency of a vibrational energy absorption area as observing the special valued resistance or the resonance pattern of the resonator or the both of them. CONSTITUTION:The resonator provided with an excitation electrode 2 and the vibrational energy absorption area 4, formed on a piezoelectric substrate 1 through a primary deposition process, is fixed at its holding part, and its resonances mode and equivalent resistance related to those are observed, and in a case that the equivalent resistance does not satisfy a specification, the characteristic adjustment is performed by applying an additional deposition to only the vibrational energy absorption area 4 or by grinding the absorption area 4. Thus, the characteristic of the resonator can be quickly settled within the desired specification.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution by employing at least one of two basic capacitors in a Colpitz oscillation circuit as a variable capacitor and using the variable capacitor so as to adjust the oscillating frequency thereby eliminating the need for a variable capacitor and an expanding coil having been inserted in series with the crystal resonator in a conventional circuit. CONSTITUTION:A basic capacitor in a conventional circuit placed between a base B and an emitter of a transistor(TR) 1 is replaced into a variable capacitor C'1 and a variable capacitor and an inductance connected in series with a crystal oscillator X are removed. Thus, if a load capacitance C'1 of the circuit side when viewed from the crystal resonator X1 is changed slightly in response to the change in the basic capacitor C'1, since the oscillation operating point of the crystal resonator X1 is changed, the oscillation output frequency is set to a desired value. Moreover, since the equivalent reactance of the crystal resonator X1 and the equivalent reactance of the circuit are nearly the same value with inverted polarity, the apparent frequency variable sensitivity of the crystal resonator is increased. Thus, the expanding coil having been indispensable of a conventional overtone oscillation circuit is not required.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a power source pattern on front and rear faces of a vibration piece from being mismatched by providing a corner to be supported to a piezoelectric vibrator, forming support corner supporting the corner to be supported to an inner periphery in an opening for supporting a middle plate and forming a mask while the opening for support is tilted. CONSTITUTION:A linear support 13a fitted to a notch 15a of a vibrator piece 15 and semi-circular projections 13b, 13c are formed to the inner periphery of an opening 13 for supporting the middle plate 10. Then one corner 18 of the corners 18a, 18b to be supported of the crystal chip is fitted and seated to one corner 17a of the support corners 17a, 17b. In this case, the opening 13 for support is tilted so that the straight line prolonged from a midpoint C of the vibration piece toward the corner 18a is nearly coincident with a line (g) prolonged from the midpoint C in the vertical direction. Since one of the corners to be supported is fitted to the vibration piece 15 when the entire mask including the middle plate is supported perpendicularly with the self-weight of the vibration piece 15, the possibility of the deviation of the position of the vibration piece is precluded.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a load resistance from being increased based on the effect of the stray capacitance between the terminal of the crystal vibrator and the case by separating the base of case of the crystal vibrator from the earth and connecting the base of case to the split point of a basic capacitor. CONSTITUTION:The case of the crystal vibrator X1 connected to the ground of a conventional circuit or a part is separated from the ground and it is connected to the split point of basic capacitors C'1, C'2 of the oscillation circuit, that is, the emitter of a transistor (TR) 1. Thus, the stray capacitance component between the terminal and the case of the crystal vibrator is connected in parallel with the basic capacitors C'1, C'2, the parallel capacitance of the crystal vibrator in the oscillation circuit is reduced, the load resistance of the circuit is decreased and the stable oscillation at a high frequency is very easily attained.
