摘要： PURPOSE:To permit to set the intervals of a louver blind at the optimum value by a method wherein a part of headers, supplying and discharging liquid helium to and from respective cryo-panels of the cryo-pump, is formed so as to be an extendable tube to permit to adjust the intervals of the neighboring louver blind. CONSTITUTION:The middle part of the lower heater 16, supplying liquid helium to the cryo-panels 10, 10 in a heat shield 12, is formed so as to be the extendable tube 18 and the length thereof is permitted to be adjusted by studs 25 and nuts 26 while the upper header 14, discharging liquid helium from the cryo- panells 10, 10, is also provided with the same constitution. A cooling pipe 29, supplying liquid nitrogen to the louver blind 11, is also provided with the extendable tube 30 to adjust the intervals (a) of the louver blinds 11, 11 by the nuts 22, 26 so as to obtain the optimum value of discharging air speed. The interval (b) between the louver blind 11 and the heat shield 12 may be set at the optimum value by making the mounting position of a hanging bolt 33 slidable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To regulate the discharge speed and the refrigerant consumption freely by providing an angle adjusting mechanism for adjusting the angle of a louver blind to be cooled through cooling liquid from the outside of a vacuum container on a cryo-pump. CONSTITUTION:Upon operation of a drive shaft 17 from the outside of a vacuum container 3 to move straight forwardly, a louver blind 14 will rotate around a cooling tube 15 through a pin joint 19 thus to adjust the angle QL. Here, a bellows 20 will expand/contract to maintain vacuum in the vacuum container. If the relation between the angle of louver blind and the movement of drive shaft is determined previously, the angle of louver blind can be held at random value by securing the drive shaft at predetermined position through a locknut 21.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate adhesion of adsorbing material having low specific gravity to metal plate having low melting point by securing the adsorbing material on a low melting point metal plate through fusion while stopping by means of a weight board. CONSTITUTION:A low melting point metal plate 11 such as high temperature solder is mounted in a metal mold 15 having a frame 15a. Adsorbing material 6 such as active carbon is distributed uniformly on said plate 11. Then a weight plate 16 is mounted on said adsorbing agent 6, and heated in a furnace 17. Consequently, said plate 11 is fused and the adsorbing material 6 is burried by half by means of the weight plate 16. Under this state, it is cooled and solidified metal plate 11 is taken out, to be fixed onto the cryogenic face.

摘要： PURPOSE:To liberate the adsorbed gas in a short time when a cryopump is regenerated, by heating a cryosurface to a prescribed temperature by a heating means. CONSTITUTION:Electric insulation pipes 16 and 17 are installed midway on a coolant feeding pipe 14 for feeding coolant onto a cryosurface 7 and a coolant discharging pipe 15, and electric wires 18 and 19 for heating the cryosurface 7 through the direct conduction onto the cryosurface 7 are connected, and each electric current which flows in the electric wire 18, 19 is controlled by an electric-current controller 21 according to the signal of a temperature measuring element 22 installed onto the cryosurface 7. Therefore, the cryosurface 7 can be kept at the gas liberating temperature, for example at 30-40 deg.K.
