    • PURPOSE:To prevent a recording paper from sticking to a platen roller even when it is maintained in a stand-by condition for recording for a long period of time, by a construction wherein the pressure exerted on a thermal recording paper by a thermal head is released in a stand-by condition for recording, and the head is pressed against the paper when recording. CONSTITUTION:After a predetermined lapse of time from the completion of recording, an electric current is momentarily passed to a pushing-up solenoid 25, whereby an armature 26 is moved in the direction of an arrow X, and press 20, 20' are turned in the direction of an arrow (a). The thermal head 12 is pushed up in the direction of an arrow Y, whereby the pressure exerted on the thermal recording paper 11 by the head 12 is released, and the levers 20, 20' are prevented from turning in the direction of an arrow a' by stopping surfaces 40 of holding levers 32, 32'. With a recording-controlling signal impressed, a releasing solenoid 34 attracts an armature 35, whereby the levers 32, 32' are turned in the direction of an arrow (b), the stopping of the levers 20, 20' by the surfaces 40 is released, the levers 20, 20' are turned in the direction of the arrow a', and the head 12 presses against the paper 11, resulting in a recordable condition.

    • PURPOSE:To discriminate the distance to an accident point with good accuracy, by calculating the magnitude of the voltage and current, and the phase at each terminal on the basis of the phase of the differential current from each terminal. CONSTITUTION:Current differential relays 4A, 4B detect the internal accident of a transmission line 1 on the basis of the operation quantity being the sum of the current vectors at terminals A, B and mutually transmit and receive the current vectors of opposed terminals through transmission apparatuses 5A, 5B. That is, the differential current of A- and B-terminal system comes to Id=IA+IB and this value is almost coincided with an accident current. The current I and voltage V taken in at the time of the zero cross point of the operation current Id are converted by A/D converter apparatuses 6A, 6B. The data at the terminal A is transmitted to the receiving apparatus 8 at the terminal B through the apparatus 6A and a transmission apparatus 7 and the data received by the apparatus 8 is sent out to an accident point operation apparatus 9 and the data of the apparatus 6B at the terminal B is also sent out to the apparatus 9. The distance to the accident point looked from the terminal B is operated by using the current and voltage at the terminals A, B taken in at the time of the zero cross point of the differential current Id is operated by the apparatus 9.
