    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magnet apparatus having a reduced oppressive sensation to be given to a patient and having a reduced leakage magnetic field, by providing an arch-shaped container having an opening part in an upper circumferential part of its container wall part laid horizontally, and by incorporating arch-shaped coils for the magnet therein, and further, by making directions of the currents flowing through the inner and outer arch-shaped coil opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:In a magnet apparatus for an imaging diagnostic equipment of a nuclear magnetic resonance type wherein a magnetic field is generated in an axial or radial direction, provided is an arch-shaped container 3 having an opening part in an upper circumferential part of its container wall part laid horizontally, and the arch-shaped coils for the magnet are incorporated therein, and further, the directions of the currents flowing through the inner and outer coil are made opposite to each other. Also, the inner arch-shaped coils 1a, 2a are placed somewhat away from the outer arch-shaped coils 1b, 2b, and the magnitudes of the currents flowing through the inner coils 1a, 2a are the same as the corresponding currents flowing through the outer coils 1b, 2b respectively. Therefore, the magnetic fluxes of the inner coils 1a, 2a, which leak to its outside, are canceled by the ones of the outer coils 1b, 2b respectively, and a leakage magnetic field to the external is suppressed. Further, a patient can look at the external from the upper opening part. Thereby, an oppressive sensation of the patient is reduced, and obtained is a magnet apparatus for an imaging diagnostic equipment of a nuclear magnetic resonance type, whose leakage magnetic field is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress unstable partial discharging and to prevent the generation of noise, deterioration of the material of an insulator, etc., during measuring operation by fitting metallic wires which are sectioned circularly and used as electrodes in semicircular grooves formed in the surface part of the insulator. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes are arranged at equal intervals on surfaces of insulators which face each other across a space of a uniform electric field so as to obtain the space. In this case, semicircular grooves 9 are formed in the surface part of the insulator on the internal surface of a pressure container 1 and electrodes 10 made of metallic wires which are sectioned circularly are fitted in the grooves 9. When the pitch of the electrodes 10 is about 10mm, the diameter of the metallic wires is preferably about 2-3mm in terms of workability, etc., and the grooves 9 are so formed that just halfs of the metallic wires are buried. Thus, the circularly sectioned metallic wires are used as the electrodes to reduce the intensity of the electric field near the electrodes 10 by about 30% as compared with conventional devices. It is evident that this results in the releasing of electric field congestion, and consequently unstable partial discharging which occurs among the electrodes is suppressed.
