摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a shielding body by inserting resin piping with a bore corresponding to the dimension of a clearance between a through hole and equipment, parallel with the through hole, and filling radiation shielding material in the resin piping. SOLUTION: A reactor primary shielding wall 3 partitioning a reactor primary container 1 and a reactor secondary container 2 is provided with a through hole 6 pierced with piping 5. In order to prevent radiation leakage from the through hole 6, radiation shielding bodies 16 are inserted parallel with the through hole 6 and fixed by a fixing band 17. The radiation shielding body 16 is formed by filling flexible shielding material 16 in resin piping 18 with the same length as the through hole 6 and with a bore insertable in a clearance between the through hole 6 and the piping 5 and fitting covers to both ends to seal. Manufacture is facilitated by the flexibility of the flexible shielding material 19, and fitting and fixing are facilitated by sealing the flexible shielding material in the resin piping 18, thereby improving safety.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate shielding devices substantially and to intend an effective use of a space in a facility, by arranging and placing a lead material at a peripheral area of a flowing zone which forms a duct. CONSTITUTION:A tunnel chamber for main steam 1 is separated from a lower radiation dose area 3 by a shielding wall 4. This tunnel 1 is cooled down by a local cooler 5 because a temperature of the tunnel 1 rises high being heated by a steam flowing inside of a main steam pipe 2. A suction duct and a venting duct 6 and 7 of the cooler 5 penetrate through the shielding wall 4 independently. In this situation, radiation leaking from a penetration 8 is shielded by a lead 13 placed at a peripheral area of a flowing zone 12 which forms the ducts. A thickness of the lead is determined according to an amount of radiation to be shielded. With this constitution, a space required for shielding diminishes to 1/10 of an ordinary one and an available space in a low radiation dose area increases.
