    • PURPOSE:To quickly control the calorific amount to be added to items to be heated by lamp heaters as a heat source that radiates infrared lays, by a method wherein a fan unit is provided which is effective for a space where the lamp heater is installed, started when the calorific amount of the lamp heaters is reduced, and kept in operation for a specified period of time. CONSTITUTION:A fan unit 29 consists of a fan 24, a motor 30, a space in which an air intake 28, an air intake duct 27, a casing 25, a connection port 22, and halogen lamps 3 are located, and a duct consisting of a connection port 23, an exhaust duct 26, and an exhaust port 33. The power level supplied to the halogen lamps 3 is indicated on an LED indicator 44, and when an input-down switch 42 is operated to reduce the power supply (calorific amount) by '1', a microcomputer 57 gives instructions to a driving circuit 55 to transmit a gate signal to a triode AC switch 56 at a phase control angle at which the power supply to the lamps 3 drops to the minimum for ten seconds, and transmits a control signal to a driving circuit 53 for ten seconds. Thereby, the motor 30 and the fan 34 are revolved and the calorific amount given to the item to be heated is rapidly reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize the number of times of feeding and cutting off a current flowing to a lamp heater or the number of times of a great variation in a current value, and to prolong the life of the lamp heater by reducing the output from the lamp heater when a temperature detecting means for detecting the atmospheric temperature of the lamp heater detects a predetermined temperature or higher in and after a predetermined period of time. CONSTITUTION:In the title cooking apparatus, a temperature in a closed heating unit 2, namely, the atmospheric temperature of halogen lamps 3 is detected by a thermostat 8. Furthermore, in the case where the preset output from the lamps 3 exceeds 1.6KW, when the thermostat 8 detects a predetermined temperature to be turned OFF in and after a predetermined period of time, the output from the lamps 3 is programmed so as to be thereafter reduced to 1.6KW. Accordingly, when the thermostat 8 detects a predetermined temperature or higher in and after a predetermined period of time, the output from the lamps 3 is reduced and, thereafter, the heating rate of the lamps 3 approaches to the amount of heat which is absorbed into foodstuffs to be heated, whereby, for example, the period of feeding and cutting off a current flowing to the lamps 3 becomes longer.

Furthermore, a controller is programmed so as to gradually reduce the output from the halogen lamps 3 by 5% of their maximum output at each step during an ON period subsequent to each occasion that the thermostat 8 detects a predetermined temperature or higher to be turned OFF in and after a predetermined period of time. According to this constitution, the output from the lamps 3, namely, the heating rate of the same is automatically regulated so as to be balanced at a final stage with the amount of heat which is absorbed to a pan and the like and, thereafter, a current is continuously fed to the lamps 3. Moreover, since the output from the lamps 3 gradually approaches to the amount of heat which is absorbed to a pan and the like, the period of feeding and cutting off a current flowing to the lamps 3 gradually becomes longer.

    • PURPOSE:To secure the adjustment of heat power, at the time when the amount of heat applied to a material to be heated is reduced, by providing a fan device which is operated with respect to lamp heaters when the amount of heat applied to the material to be heated is reduced, and which discharges heat in the periphery of the lamp heaters to the outside of the title apparatus, and by determining such an operation time depending upon the degree of reducing the amount of heat and the volume of the material to be heated. CONSTITUTION:In the adjustment of reducing heat power, a microcomputer simultaneously supplies an operation signal to a drive circuit, a TRIAC is conducted, and power is supplied to a motor 17 in a fan device 15 to turn a fan 16. In accordance with the turning of the fan, air in the outside of the title apparatus is sucked into a fan casing 11 from an inlet port 13 on an outer frame 1 through a suction duct 10 and, after being blown inside both upper and lower heat insulating members 3 and 4, the sucked air further passes through an exhaust duct 12 and is exhausted outside the apparatus through an exhaust port 14 on the outer frame 1. According to such an air flow, heat (remaining heat) is discharged outside the apparatus from the periphery of halogen lamps 2. Therefore, the amount of heat applied to a material to be heated on a top plate 20 can be positively reduced in a quick manner, and the material can be cooked without causing any failure in cooking such as scorching.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an inner box to go up and down as a door is opened and closed, surely preventing the flap to interfere with a stored object which protrudes to the front of the inner box, without using any complicated means, and enable the stored object to be pushed inward when the inner box is lifted by utilizing the flap, in a cabinet of a simple structure and the inside space of which can efficiently be utilized. SOLUTION: The inner box 2, which ca be lifted up and lowered, is set inside an outer box 1. These boxes are configured so that the front side of the inner box is fully appeared from the outer box 1 when the inner box is lowered. The outer box 1 has the flap 3, which covers the front side of the inner box 2 when the inner box 2 is lifted and stored. The upper end of the flap 3 is connected to the outer box 1 via the hinges 3, which enables the rotation of the lower end of the flap back and forth around the upper end. The flap 3 and the inner box 2 are connected by a link 33, which consists of a plurality of arms, to enable the rotation of the flap 3 in the closed direction as the inner box is lifted up and in the opened direction as the inner box is lowered. The link 3 is assembled in a way that the flap 3 is halted at the largest opening angle in the middle of the upward stroke of the inner box 2.

CONSTITUTION: When a temperature probe 22 is inserted in a holder part 25 provided in the upper surface of the outer surface of a frying pan 24. The outer peripheral surface of the lower part of the temperature probe fixedly make plane contact with a recessed part 26a in a fixed part 26. Also, since the tip part of the temperature probe abuts against the upper surface of a heat insulating part in the fixed part, a predetermined distance is ensured between the tip part of the temperature probe and the upper part of a top plate. A strong relationship exists between the temperature of the frying pan 24 and oil temperature in the frying pan 24 and both temperatures are almost equal to each other, so that a microcomputer can accurately detect the oil temperature on the basis of the detecting temperature of the temperature probe 22.

In this case, if a value for output setting level of the electric heater 3 is not more than a designated value, i.e., when cooking for a long period of time such as simmering etc., is performed by setting the electric heater 3 at a low output, the clock motion time is extended. By this method, the electric heater 3 is not discontinued during cooking, and the using handiness is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a foodstuff to be heated from rising at its temperature more than required even if a temperature sensor is not dipped in an foodstuff to be heated by providing a control circuit for turning OFF a heat source if the temperature to be detected by the sensor is a predetermined value or less when a predetermined period of time is elapsed after the heat source is turned ON. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 22 is connected in series with a resistor 32 at the output of a constant-voltage circuit 31 to apply its partial voltage to the A/C converter 27a of a microcomputer 27, which turns OFF a halogen lamp 3 by its judgement in any of cases in which insertion of the plug 23 of the sensor 22 to a jack 21 is inaduertently forgotten, the sensor 22 is disconnected, and the jack 21 is improperly connected. For example, if an ambient temperature is 5 deg.C, amount of oil is 120% of rated capacity, and a power source voltage is 95% of a rated value, it judges that the mounting state of the sensor 22 is abnormal if the detecting temperature of the sensor 22 is 45 deg.C or lower from when 4min is elapsed after the energization of the lamp 3 is started to turn OFF the lamp 3. Thus, it can effectively prevent oil from rising to a temperature of an ignition point.
