    • PURPOSE:To execute disassembly and assembly of a stator winding at a site inside a power station or the like safely, as an easy operation by a small number of operators and in a short period by a method wherein a conveyer device, used outside a machine, which can move up and down, a conveyer device used inside the machine and a disassembly and assembly device which is provided with a movement function are arranged properly and disassembly and assembly is mechanized or automated. CONSTITUTION:A conveyer device 10 used outside a machine is installed near a temporary installation stand 6 after its height has been adjusted. In addition, a temporary floor 11B which is equipped with a conveyance device used inside the machine and a temporary floor 11B on which a disassembly and assembly device including a coil insertion device 14 has been loaded are installed sequentially. Then, while a stator winding 4 taken away from a slot 3 is being held by a stator-winding receiver 19 for the disassembly and assembly device, it is moved, it is placed on the conveyer device inside the machine, it is delivered to the conveyer device 10 used outside the machine, and the stator winding 4 is disassembled sequentially. On the other hand, the stator winding 4 is placed sequentially on the conveyer device 10 used outside the machine, it is delivered to the conveyer device used inside the machine, it is moved while it is being held by the stator-winding receiver 10 for the disassembly and assembly device, it is inserted into, and fixed to, the slot 3, and the stator winding 4 is assembled sequentially.
