CONSTITUTION:An image forming drum 1 or a pressure roller 17 is composed of a pressure sensitive conductive rubber, and the drum 1 on which a toner image 15 is formed via a medium to be recorded 16 and the pressure roller 17 are in pressurized-contact. The pressure sensitive conductive rubber has low-resistance only on a pressurized-contact part so that a current is concentrated on the part, to produce Joule heat. With the heat, toner is thermally transferred on the medium 16 and simultaneously fixed thereto, as well. The heat is produced on a thin pressure sensitive conductive rubber layer and further only on a part where the image forming drum 1 is in pressurized-contact with the medium 16, so that energy required for fixing is extremely less. Therefore, a recorder whose rising time is short with the small consumption of power can be realized. On the other hand, the transfer and fixing of the toner to the medium 16 are simultaneously executed, it is unnecessary that a fixing device is separately provided and the recorder can be miniaturized.

    • PURPOSE:To make an original visible so that a composite picture of different paper can be obtained easily, by making a sensor means movable against an original placing table. CONSTITUTION:A line sensor 4 electrically scans picture signals in the transverse direction (auxiliary scanning direction) of an original and mechanically scans in the longitudinal direction (main scanning direction) in accordance with the movement of a sensor moving section 7. Electric signals from the line sensor 4 are sent to a print head 9 after passing through a signal processing circuit. When a composite picture is to be produced by copying from the upper half of an original A and upper half of another original B, the original A is first placed on the normal position and its upper half is copied. When this copy is taken, the sensor moving section 7 is stopped at the midway. Then the original B is placed on the original placing table by shifting the original B by a half and the copying operation is restarted. Thus the desired composite picture of the originals A and B can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a clear copy in a state that an original has been turned upward, by placing an original of a book type with its surface upward, and pressing it from above by a light-transmittable pressing means. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 is placed on an original platen 2, and its upper part is pressed by a transparent sheet 3. Picture information on the original 1 is read through the transparent sheet 3 by a signal detecting system 4 which has been installed at the upper part. The sheet 3 has a function for keeping the original 1 even, therefore, an easily deformable original is not good, but since a focus is shifted when the original 1 and the upper face of the sheet 3 are separated from each other, a too thick original is not good. One end of this transparent sheet 3 is attached to a support 12 which can move up and down, and also the support 12 is connected to a support 13 of the detecting system 4. Therefore, the distance between the sheet 3 and the detecting system 4 is always kept constant, therefore, it is unnecessary to execute focusing.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a titled scanner which has a simple constitution and is small-sized, by constituting so that luminous fluxes from plural light sources scan through a collimating lens, an optical element, a focusing lens and a polarizing lens, of one piece each.
      CONSTITUTION: A titled scanner is constituted of three semiconductor laser light sources 51a, 51b and 51c, a collimating lens 52 for converting each of said laser light to a parallel luminous flux, an optical element 53 for making an optical path of the parallel luminous flux from this collimating lens 52 nearly parallel, a focusing lens 54 for focusing each of the nearly parallel luminous flux from this optical element 53, and a face to be scanned 56 by which the luminous flux from this focusing lens 54 is scanned through a vibration mirror 55. In this way, although scanning is executed by use of plural luminous fluxes, one collimating lens 52 is enough, and also a direction of the luminous flux is decided by a structure of one optical element 53, therefore, the fine adjustment becomes unnecessary, and it is possible to obtain a plural luminous flux scanner which has a simple constitution and is small-sized.
