CONSTITUTION:A valve 16 is fitted inside a rotating drum 7 and the support rod section 17a thereof is passed through and held with the support section 15 of a water discharge strainer 13. Also, a support rod section 17b is inserted through a water discharge port 14. As a result, the valve 16 is movable vertically. In addition, a spring, for example, a compression coil spring 19 is provided between a valve body 17 and the support section 15. The spring force of the compression coil spring 19 is used for the valve 16 to close the water discharge port 14. On the other hand, the bottom of a water reservoir 2 is fitted with a drive section 20 for opening and closing the valve 16. In the aforesaid drive section 20, a through-hole 21 is so formed in the bottom of the water reservoir 2 as to correspond to the water discharge port 14 of the aforesaid rotating drum 7.

CONSTITUTION:The slopes 11b ranging from the ridge line parts 11a of the projecting line parts 11 to the base plate 8 are so formed that said slopes incline largely in the section near the outside circumference close to a boss part and incline relatively gently in the intermediate section. The friction force between the wash and the projecting line part is thereby uniformized and the damage of the wash is suppressed. The base plate 8 constitutes a horizontal plane 8a from the boss part 9 to approximately the intermediate section of the projecting line parts 11 and constitutes, therefrom, the slope 8b which ranges up to the upper outside circumferential edge 10 of the base plate 8. The base plate 8 is, therefore, so recessed and formed that the height therefrom up to the ridge line parts 11a of the projecting line parts 11 is largest in the intermediate section of the projecting line parts 11. The decrease of the detergency in this part is thus prevented.

CONSTITUTION:At the time of feeding water, a feed valve 20 is opened, a motor 11 is conducted, the water flows through a water feeder 19 onto a detergent receiving part 17, and simultaneously a detergent feeding member 10 is rotated in the screw direction. Consequently a detergent 25 in a hopper 8 proceeds through a detergent feed part 9 to a detergent exit 16, drops from the detergent exit 16 on the water flowing the detergent receiving part 17, and it is supplied from a supplying port 18 into a washing tub. At such a time when an operating course is set at the soaking process, the water is fed to the low level out of the several setting levels, and the detergent 25 for the high level is supplied as a necessary quantity. When the driving course is set at the normal level, the water is fed to the level set by a user out of the several setting levels, and the detergent in the quantity corresponding to each level is supplied.

CONSTITUTION: The detergent feeding member 22 in a coil shape is stored in a detergent feeding part 21 so as to be rotatable on the whole length. Water supply is started in case the switch of an operation panel is operated in a state where the powder detergent 34 is stored inside a hopper 10, a motor 31 is energized and started after that, rotary force is transmitted to a transmission shaft 29 and it is transmitted to the adjusting member 23 and the detergent feeding member 22. The rotation-driven detergent feeding member 22 is moved while being brought into contact with the powder detergent 34 in the hopper 10 and discharged from an exit 24 while loosening the detergent 34. Its passage quantity is restricted so that the supplying quantity of the powder detergent 34 is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To stop a rotary tank at a desired stop position by rotating a rotational position electing means and a rotary tank with speed slower than the rotational speed in the dehydrating rotation to controllably stop the rotary tank at the desired stop position on the basis of a rotational position detecting signal of the rotational position detecting means. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a rotary tank 17 is stopped at a fixed position, a position detecting sensor 42 is provided to output a position detecting signal when the rotary tank 17 is rotated and located at the fixed position. While the rotary tank 17 is rotated with about 30rpm, the rotary tank 17 is temporarily stopped on this side of a desired stop position, for example about 10-300mm short thereof on the basis of the position detecting signal. Further, after the temporary stop, the rotary tank 17 is rotated with 1rpm and constituted to stop at the desired stop position. Thus, since the rotational speed of the rotary tank 17 can be set relatively high speed until it is stopped temporarily on this side of the desired stop position, the rotary tank 17 is rotated with slow speed, 1rpm, only in the slight rotational distance from this side of the desired stop position.

Secondly, washed materials are subjected to the first washing process. Subsequently, washing water with contaminants is discharged, and in the subsequent 'water supply' process, water is supplied with a detergent 25. At this time, the power-on time of the motor 10 is set longer than that in the first 'water supply' process, so that the ordinary amount of a detergent 25 is supplied.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of vibration isolation performance by a method wherein the internal diameter at the upper end of a cylinder of a sliding part is larger than that at the lower end. CONSTITUTION:When water is stored in a water reservoir 12, a holder 24 is relatively positioned at the upper part of an inner case 23 of a sliding body 21. As the internal diameter at the upper end of the inner case 23 is larger than that at the lower end, an O ring 25 is not pressed so hard against the internal surface of the inner case 23 and the degree of compression deformation is small. Then, water in the water reservoir 12 is drained, a compression coil spring 27 expands causing the sliding body 21 to move upward, so that the holder 24 is relatively positioned at the lower part of the inner case 23 of the sliding body 21. At this time, as the O ring 25 is easily restored to the original shape due to a small degree of compression deformation and the diameter at the lower end of the inner case is smaller than that at the upper end, sealing performance between the O ring 25 and the internal surface of the inner case 23, that is, the sealing performance of an air chamber 26, is enhanced, and a good vibration isolating performance can be maintained.
