    • PURPOSE:To suppress overvoltage generated according to operating a switch, by grounding any one of electrodes through an insulating member and a conductor supported to a ground vessel, and connecting this conductor to the ground vessel through a prescribed impedance circuit element. CONSTITUTION:An impedance circuit element 15 is interposed between a vessel 1 and an insulator 11, and the element is inserted between the vessel 1 and a supporting electrode 17 having an equal potential. A conductor 10 is grounded through a ground wire 12. Thus by enabling loop impedance, which is a cause of overvoltage, to reduce, overvoltage generated in the insulator 11 can be suppressed, and creeping dielectric breakdown of the insulator 11 can be prevented before occurrence. By decreasing also a level of generated surge, induction to a peripheral equipment can be suppressed, and equipment malfunction and damage can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance safety by eliminating the danger of closing a ground switch by mistake during normal operation and to simplify the constitution of the ground switch. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric disc cam 8 abutting to a closing lever 6 and a crescent cam 10 that can abut to an opening lever 9 are secured to the respective portions of a cam shaft 7. The eccentric disc cam 8 is so designed that while the cam shaft 7 is being turned the closing lever 6 is turned in the direction in which a closing spring 4 is pressed, and that when the closing spring 4 is released the cam shaft 7 is turned in the same direction as when the closing spring 4 is pressed. The crescent cam 10 is so designed that when the closing spring 4 is released the opening lever 9 is turned in the direction in which an opening spring is pressed, and that when the opening spring 5 is released the cam 10 does not make contact with the opening lever 9.

Plural number of partition 12 to divide a hollow part area equally into a radial shape are provided in a conical shape on the opposite side of the movable arc contact shoe 8 in the vicinity of the communicating hole 5a. Bases of the partition 12 are fixed to the inner wall of the driving rod 5 through a bimetallic member 13 having a low expansion member 13a and a high expansion member 13b.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance voltage resistance by arranging a plurality of embedded fittings connected to a high-voltage electrode at least on a high voltage side at one end of an insulating cylinder, connecting an inner shield to the embedded fitting, and providing each outer diameter of both ends of the cylinder smaller than that of the cylinder connecting portion of the electrode. CONSTITUTION:At both ends of an insulating cylinder 20, a movable portion supporter 2 or a fixed portion supporter 10 and a plurality of embedded fittings 14 for fastening bolts are arranged, respectively. A cylindrical inner shield 21 is integrally formed around the tip of the fitting 14. In addition, at both ends of the cylinder 20, small diameter portions 24 are formed, the diameter D2 of which is smaller than the outer diameter of the cylinder 20. Accordingly, the electric field of the tip of the fitting 14 is released by the shield 21, and further, the electric field of a contact surface between the cylinder 20 and the connecting member of a high-voltage electrode is released over the whole insulating cylinder by a synthetic shielding effect of the shield 21 and the connecting member by itself. Therefore, voltage resistance can be enhanced.

Moving pieces are arranged which move horizontally to the stators and come into contact with the abovementioned stators. After the breaker 6 is removed, the earth switches 30a and 30b for the maintenance of breakers are left in the units on bus bar sides and the disconnectors 14a and 14b become earthed, so that there will be no danger of electric shock at work.
