    • PURPOSE:To simplify the system and improve the reliability and durability by providing a radiator for radiating excess power as heat, and controlling difference between power consumption fluctuation, caused by load fluctuation in a spacecraft, and power, generated by a generating device, by the heat radiation of the radiator. CONSTITUTION:A generator 13 is a synchronous generator formed of armature winding 18 and field winding 19. A reference field current 28 is compared with the field current, detected by a current detector 29, at a comparator 30, and according to the deviation, the on-off ratio of a transistor 27 is controlled by a switching control circuit 31 to control the field current. On the other hand, the reference voltage 34 is compared with the output voltage of a converter 14, detected by a voltage detector 17, at a comparator 35. The deviation is amplified by a voltage control circuit 36, and the on-off ratio of a transistor 33 is controlled by a switching control circuit 37 to control the output voltage of the converter 14. When the power consumption of load equipment 6 decreases, for instance, the output voltage of the converter 14 becomes high, and the ratio of the 'on' period to the 'off' period of the transistor 33 is enlarged to increase power supply to a radiator 7.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a managerial method for degradation of plant performance, which grasps the performances and associate degree of its secular deterioration of a gas turbine and a steam turbine while a uniaxial combined cycle plant is in operation. CONSTITUTION:In a power generating plant in which a gas turbine, steam turbine. and generator are coupled uniaxially, the output of the steam turbine under operation is determined using the internal efficiency drop curve 1 for the steam turbine, and the calculative value of the steam turbine output is subtracted from the measure value 6 of the output at the generating end of the shaft to determine the output 8 of the gas turbine. The curve 1 is corrected on the basis of the clearance measuring data 11 for different parts of the steam turbine which is acquired on the occasion of regular inspections, and management of the secular performance deterioration of various apparatus is conducted by reference to this corrected data.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the drop of combustion efficiency of a combustor with catalyst, by forming holes in the inner cylinder of the combustor at a position located on the outlet side of catalyst, constituting a mating outer cylinder as a rotatable air control valve, and disposing a plurality of such combustors along a circular array so that they can be controlled simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:When the load of a gas turbine is high, an air-flow control valve 12 is closed completely. However, when partial-load operation of the gas turbine begins with decreasing of the load, the turning angle of a driving band 14 is increased by turning a driving wheel 15. Resultantly, an outer cylinder 11 of the air-flow control valve 12 is turned around an inner cylinder 7 and the overlap of holes 9 formed in the outer cylinder 11 and holes 10 formed in the inner cylinder 7 is increased, so that the amount of diluting air mixed into combustion gas at the outlet of catalyst is increased while the amount of air supplied from swirlers 2, 5 to a primary combustion region I and a pre-mixing region II is decreased. The above process is effected simultaneously by a fixed wheel 17 for all of a plurality of combustors which are disposed along a circular array. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides and to raise the combustion efficiency at the time of partial-load operation of the gas turbine.
