摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and automatically set a lid when a lid mounting surface is plane or nearly plane by a method in which a cushion raw material is supplied to a mold by a cylinder, the mold is moved to the lid side with the cylinder kept at the press position, and the lid is engaged on the mold. SOLUTION: A cushion raw material is supplied to a mold A, after a prescribed quantity is supplied, a press cylinder 4 is brought down, and a press plate is held at a position on the upper surface of the mold A. A mold transfer cylinder 21 is actuated to push out the mold A. The upper surface of the compressed cushion raw material is kept being covered with a lid B. When it reaches a prescribed position, the fixing member 11 of the lid B is released. The lid B is removed from a support member 10 with the mold A by frictional force with the cushion raw material. A flange is moved to the tip position by the cylinder 21, a retracting support piece 26 is moved slantingly and sinks from the upper surface of a rail for going forward and backward, and the removal of the mold A is allowed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently mold a fibrous cushion member having a complicated shape. CONSTITUTION:At least two kinds of raw fibers are opened to mix and fibers having random directions are transferred by air stream. These are supplied on an air permeable molding case 33 and sucked from the bottom to accumulate a specified amount of fibers on the frame. Further the accumulated fibers are compressed by an upper molding frame 34 to a specified depth, transferred together with both frames to a heating means and heated to mold. The supplied raw fibers are sucked and accumulated on the entire surfaces of the frame and accordingly, even in cases where the frame has a complicated shape, a fibrous cushion member having an accurate shape is obtained following the shape of the frame.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the elasticity and durability of a fiber cushion member by relieving the strains of the cushion base material formed of the cushion stock obtd. by compressing and thermally molding a mixture composed of hot melt fibers and non- molten fibers by exiting the base material and welding cover materials to both front and rear surfaces. SOLUTION: The cushion stock is formed by compressing and heating the mixture composed of the fibers melted by heating and the fibers having the m.p. higher than the m.p. of these fibers by a compression molding device. This cushion stock is cut to a prescribed width in parallel with the compression direction. The cut materials are arranged in juxtaposition transversely with the direction perpendicular to the compression direction as a vertical direction and are connected to each other, by which the cushion base material Wc is formed. The cushion base material Wc is sent to a strain relieving mechanism 2 and is excited in the longitudinal direction of the feed, by which its strains are relieved. The cushion base material is then sent to a cover material adhering device 3, where the cover materials, such as non-woven fabrics C, D, are bonded by fusing by heating to both front and rear surfaces of the cushion base material Wc.

A source fiber is supplied to the under frame through a blowing nozzle 25 which is movable in X-Y direction against the frame, selects supply time to each part of the frame and controls supply amount of the source fiber in accordance with the thickness of each part of the frame. This method can effectively carry out the monolithic molding of a large amount of fiber-like cushion material. Even in the case where the frame has an irregular shape, it is able to form a fiber-like cushion material having a uniform thickness along the frame.
