    • PURPOSE:To increase dust-knocking-off property, to decrease clogging, so as to improve restoration property of a filter, by using two kinds of thermoplastic nonwoven fabric filters of different pore volumes, and by making irregular the surface of one filter which has coarser structure and larger pore volume. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven fabric filter is composed of rough structural layers 1 of a pore volume 85-98% and dense structural layers 2 of a pore volume 65-85%, and the two layers are combined by means of parts 3. Both layers are made of thermoplastic fiber, e.g., polyester, polyamide, or polyolefin etc. In addn., the surfaces of the rough structural layers 1 are made irregular by forming recesses thereon to make a dense structure having recesses of a pore volume not larger than 65%. Hereby dust layers 4 are made on the surface by preventing the intrusion of the dust inward, so that the dust is simply knocked off. The area occupied by the recesses on the filter surface is pref. 5-60% in consideration of knocking-off property and press. loss.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a filter capable of removing ddposited dusts easily and being hard to be clogged by partly adhering a collecting agent to a surface with coarse fiber density of a nonwoven fabric having a coarse layered structure as a nonwoven fabric filter. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven fabric having a layered structure with different fiber density of which the surface of the fiber layer is a coarse layer 3 with pore volume of 75-95% is formed as a filter of a electric vacuum cleaner, automobile and the like, thereafter a collecting agent 4 such as polyamide resin, acrylic rubber and the like is partly adhered in dot or line pattern on the surface of a nonwoven fabric. When a fluid such as dusts containing air and the like is passed, dusts are collected on the surface of the fiber layer, particulary, to the collecting agent, and are not almost collected within the fiber interior. Therefore, the clogging of a filter is reduced and the deposited dusts of a filter are easily and simply removed.
