摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten a position spotting time by storing time differences between respective meshes in a spotting area and the 1st and the 2nd couples of impact sound detection points in respective meshes, generating the 1st and the 2nd time difference maps, and superposing them one over another. CONSTITUTION:For example, an impact sound is generated in the spotting area A on the surface of metal, the detection time difference DELTAt1 between both impact sound detectors Da and Db arranged at detection points (a) and (b) is calculated from both detectors Da and Db, and this time difference DELTAt1 is marked in all corresponding meshes on a time difference map 1. Thus, one hyperbola is obtained. Further, this impact sound is detected by impact sound detectors De and Dd arranged at detection points (c) and (d) to calculate the detection time difference DELTAt2 between both detectors De and Dd, and this time difference DELTAt2 is marked in all corresponding meshes on a time difference map 2. Then, another hyperbola is obtained. The hyperbolas obtained on the time difference maps 1 and 2 are superposed to obtain their intersection, which is then spotted as the impact sound generation position.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the detection precision of impulse wave arrival time difference by varying a discriminator level to the specific rate level of the maximum amplitude value of an impulse wave detected by detector and detecting the timing. CONSTITUTION:The impulse wave is detected by a detector 3a and inputted to a digital waveform storage device 5 through an amplifier 4a, and the wave is converted from analog to digital and recorded. A microcomputer 6 discriminates a digital value corresponding to the maximum amplitude of the detection signal and also determines the earliest time ta among times corresponding to its specific rate. Further, the time difference tb-ta is calculated from a timing detection time tb obtained similarly from the detection signal of a detector 3b. Then, time difference from another detector (not shown in figure) is calculated and at least two time differences are used to spot an impulse wave generation point, thereby displaying its position on an output device 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To discriminate easily and with high accuracy a shape of a solid body mixed up in a pipe by detecting an impact in case when a solid body moving in a flow path collides against the inside wall of said flow path, as a frequency. CONSTITUTION:For instance, when a flat surface 4 of a rolling nut 3 whose section has a square shape collides against an inside wall 2 of a pipe 1, a frequency signal having such a characteristic as shown in the figure is detected, and when the flat surface 4 and a corner part 5 of the nut 3 collide against the inside wall 2, a signal is detected in accordance with the number of times of the collision. Accordingly, when a frequency signal by a collistion of the flat surface of its solid body and the inside wall of its flow path is compared with a frequency signal by a collision of the corner part of the solid body and the inside wall of its flow path, a shape of rhe solid body mixed up in the pipe can be discriminated easily and with high accuracy.

摘要： PURPOSE:To estimate the mass of a loose part simply by comparing the frequency or the cycle of at the crest part of an impact signal with a correlation data between the frequency or the cycle of the known crest part and the mass. CONSTITUTION:An impact signal generated when a loose metallic part collides with the inner wall of a container or a piping of a plant equipment is detected with a detector 1 and inputted into a frequency analyzer 3 through an amplifer 2. The wave form at the crest part of the impact signal is extracted with the frequency analyzer 3 and compared with correlation data or correlation chart of the crest frequency or the crest cycle and the mass with a microcomputer 4 to estimate the mass of the loose metallic part. This enable a simple estimation of the mass of loose metallic parts mixed into a container or a piping.

摘要： PURPOSE:To curtail time required for monitoring, by, in case of detecting by a plurality of noise sensors separated parts, foreign substances inside a reactor, monitoring outputs of at least two sensors simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of sensors S1-Sn distributed throughout the important places inside a reactor are amplified by amplifiers A1-An, processed by signal processing circuits P1-Pn and recorded by a signal recorder R. On the output side of the amplifiers A1-An, 2 outputs are connected with two channel amplifiers ChA, ChB simultaneously through a selector switch SW. An output of each amplifier is connected with LH and RH unit of, for example, head-phones. Hearing sensation of human can distinguish one signal from other entering into one of the ears, even if different signals did enter into the different ears, and so, simultaneous monitoring of outputs of two sensors can be performed. Further, 3-5 speakers are installed in parallel insteard of the head-phones and output of each different sensor may be applied to each speaker.

Then when a signal arrives at corners P1-P3 to which no signal is transmitted later, circles of signal arrival time delay are drawn having centers at the corners and the intersection HP of arcs of equal arrival time delay from the detectors 6-8 is estimated as a signal generation source. Thus, the arcs of equal signal arrival time delay from the respective detectors are used to survey the signal generation source on a drawing, color display, etc.
