    • PURPOSE:To supply surely filter papers and spacers by a method wherein the control for suction and supply of filter papers is carried out by providing a means for distinguishing between the filter paper and the spacer. CONSTITUTION:Four large and small holes are provided alternately on the circumference of a turntable 1 which is rotated by a driving means 8. Filter papers and spacers are placed alternately on a disk 11 equipped with a spring 12 within a paper supply container 2. The top of the filter paper or the spacer is pressed against a roller 10 by the spring 12. When the turntable 1 is rotated and a large hole is positioned above the container 2, a catching means 4 descends. A valve V5 is closed and a valve V3 is opened by a detector 9. When the detector 9 detects the spacer, the valve V5 is closed and a valve V4 is opened. By this operation, the filter paper or the spacer is attracted by the catching means 4. When the table 1 is rotated in a 90 deg. arc, the filter paper or the spacer drops into a smaller hole of the table 1. In case of the filter paper, filtration is carried out by the rotation in a subsequent 90 deg. arc. By further mext 90 deg. rotation, the filter paper is introduced into a container 3 by a pushing means 6.

    • PURPOSE:To simply detect the outflow of a liquid by a method wherein a liquid level detector for an overflowing liquid in a storage container and a liquid-discharging pipe which has an orifice function provided on the liquid outflow side of the storage container are utilized. CONSTITUTION:A sample liquid is led to flow in through a guide pipe 6 and part of the liquid is discharged through an orifice, then the rest of the liquid flows in a storage container, but if the resistance of flow passage on the container side 8 is made smaller than that of the orifice 11, most part of the sample liquid flowed through the pipe 6 flows into the container 8. When a suitable amount of the liquid has flowed into the container, a floating type switch 9 operates and renders a signal from a signal line S. Since the sample liquid led to a fixed quantity tank 1 flows into it from a valve 3, the sample liquid does not flow into the container 8 if the valve 3 of the tank is operated to close by the signal from the signal line S. Therefore, the liquid in the container 8 is discharged through the orifice 11 and simultaneously the switch 9 is automatically reset. By this constitution, the existence or non-existence of the sample liquid can be detected, and the amount of overflowing liquid from the fixed quantity tank can be set without difficulty.
