摘要： PURPOSE:To block intrusion of air and prevent firing by winding stretchable bands two times around the fastener which connects the main body of a trough for power cables and an upper cover through upper cover fall-off prevention boards, and by allowing the upper cover to float for the release of the high- pressure gas when a cable is grounded, and to settle it to the original position in order to airtightly close the trough. CONSTITUTION:A trough main body 1 and a trough upper cover 2 are connected by a fastener 3 and rivets 6 to constitute a trough for power cables. In the interior of the trough, the power cables are laid. At appropriate intervals, the upper cover fall-off prevention boards 9 are arranged to abut on the fastener 9, the outside of which is wound by stretchable bands 10 two times so that the trough is tightly fastened. When a high pressure gas is generated due to the grounding of a cable, the upper cover is once opened, but as the pressure is lowered, the cover is settled to its original position by the resiliency of the trough bands to avoid any air intrusion. In this way, a firing of the cables is automatically prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent falling of top cover of trough by fixing a top cover anti- falling plate(TT) protruding in the direction of a disaster preventive top cover(TC) for trough to a trough body(TM) and providing the TC with a guide for regulating the TT and a guide for preventing falling of trough band. CONSTITUTION:The disaster preventive trough containing power cables 1 comprises TM3 and TC2 having recessed cross-sectional profiles being combined from the opposite sides. Trough fasteners 4 to be engaged with the TC2 are formed on the opposite sides of the TM3. TTa6, each having a groove for preventing the TC2 from falling off the trough fastener 4, are fixed at a predetermined interval to the TM3. A guide 7 for preventing the TC2 from falling is fixed to the TC2 such that the TT6 is clamped at the opposite sides thereof and regulated. Guides 8 for preventing the trough band 5 from falling are provided for the TM3 and TC2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate erroneous detection by factors other than faults by extracting a point with a variation of temperature larger than a specified value as a fault candidate point to detect a fault point based on the change with time in the temperature at the candidate point and the temperature distribution in front and in rear of the candidate point. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated, a trip signal is detected with a trigger signal generator 4. The trigger signal is inputted to a temperature distribution measuring device 3 to start the location of a fault point. The measuring device 3 measures a temperature distribution along the length of an optical fiber 2 based on a detection light from the optical fiber 2 along a pipeline or the like where a power cable 1 is installed. The temperature distribution measured is inputted into a fault location device 5 and when a variation of the temperature exceeds a specified value at a point, the point is extracted as fault candidate point. As the rise in the temperature as caused in case of a ground fault is faster in the rising as compared with the temperature rise by other factors, faster rise in the temperature at the candidate point indicates that the candidate point is the fault point. When a temperature rise occurs in a narrow range before and after the candidate point, the candidate point is identified as a fault point.

The coupling frame 19 is so formed as to engage with a straight-line guide rail 20 for shifting it axially, and the mobile frames 13, 14, and 15 with circular guide rails 16, 17, and 18 axially and laterally. And, the circular guide rails 16, 17, and 18 of the mobile frames 13, 14, and 15 are so constituted as to perform the action of dividing it equally each geometrically similar to a pantagraph mechanism. Hereby, the occurrence percentage of trouble or inferiority can be suppressed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize effective cooling by determining start/stop time of a water supply pump based on prediction results of the variation of outer air temperature and load and decision results of the temperature distribution in an underground transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Outer air temperature detected through an outer temperature sensor 9 is subjected to A/D conversion 8 to predict the outer air temperature with reference to the data stored in an outer air temperature data memory 12. Load detected through a load meter 10 is subjected to A/D conversion 8 to predict variation of load with reference to data stored in a load data memory 13. Furthermore, temperature in an underground transmission line is detected 11 and subjected to A/D conversion 8 to calculate 5 temperature distribution. Thus predicted and calculated values are then inputted to an interface 2 in order to set 1 a time schedule. A pump control board 6 automatically starts/ stops a pump 14 according to the time schedule. The pump 14 may be manually operated on a control console 7, as required. Consequently, temperature in the transmission line is maintained lower than an upper limt, resulting in prevention of unnecessary operation of pump.

摘要： PURPOSE:To quench generation of arc when a power cable after a withstand voltage test is earthed thereby to ensure safety by connecting a series unit having a bushing, a discharge coil and a gas-insulated switch electrically and mechanically connected in series to a direct current voltage generating device in parallel. CONSTITUTION:To test the withstand voltage of a power cable 4, a gas-insulated grounding switching device 18 is opened and the voltage generated at a direct current voltage generating device is raised to a testing voltage. Then, a high voltage is impressed to the cable 4 via a water resistance 11 by the generating device. Thereafter, when the switching device 18 is closed after the voltage is impressed for a predetermined time, the cable 4 is earthed via a leading cable 7, a coil 17 and the switching device 18, so that the charges are discharged. The residual energy in the cable 4 is attenuated by a time constant, of a product CR of the capacitance C of the cable 4 and the resistance value R of the coil 17. Since the charges of the cable 4 are discharged in the switching device 18, the arc when the circuit is closed is generated in the tank, thereby quenching arc and ensuring safety.

In a refrigerating machine 5, a coolant raised in temperature and vaporized by the chiller 10 is liquefied by compression 6, cooled 7 and returned to the chiller 10 via receiver 8 and expansion valve 9. The detected value of each sensor at the time of normal operation is stored in notshown in the CPU. The figure output of each sensor is always inputted into the CPU, and when the output differs from normal data by a predetermined value or more, an alarm is given so that repairs are made. Thus, a failure is known in advance so that the generation of a serious accident is prevented.
