摘要： PURPOSE:To minimize a load of a transporting means by coupling a moving part of the transporting means with a fixed part of said means through a spring and ring spindle and balancing mass of the moving part with energized force of the spring. CONSTITUTION:The 1st carriage 56 being a moving part of a transporting device 14 is coupled with a frame 54 being a fixed part through springs 82 and 82 and ring spindles 77 and 77. When mass of the 1st carriage 56 is balanced with energized force of said spring 82 on a center of total strokes in the vertical direction, the unbalanced quantity between upper and lower ends becomes smaller; therefore a small drive motor can be selected. Furthermore said balancing can be executed in smaller space thanks to the ring spindle 77. Moreover, a balancing function with light weight having a long service life can be obtained at a low cost by employing the spring 82, especially a coil spring.

摘要： PURPOSE:To decide easily the face of a disk and to contain securely disks in the same direction without operator's checking of the direction of a disk by containing disks in the same direction in a containing part by using either face as a reference based on disk readout information. CONSTITUTION:After an optical disk device 3 reads out provisionally disk information stored in its interior, on the basis of the readout information disk cassettes 10 are contained in a containing rack 15a or 15b in the same direction by a transporting device 14, using either face as a reference. As a result, containing work can be done without operator's checking of the direction of the disk cassette 10. Furthermore, since first the optical disk device 3 executes reading without fail, contents of data of the disk cassettes 10- contained in the containing racks 15a and 15b become more secure.

摘要： PURPOSE:To transport a disk cassette in the condition where it is held with high accuracy and to avoid increases in its weight and size by taking in the disk cassette in a transporting frame and transporting said cassette in the condition where it is completely held. CONSTITUTION:In order to take in a disk cassette from containing racks 15a and 15b to a transporting frame 72, first a slide claw 88 is set to a position slightly below a bottom of a disk cassette 10 contained in said racks 15a and 15b. Then the entire transporting frame 72 is elevated, and the slide claw 88 is put in a concealed hole 53 of the disk cassette 10. Next, the slide claw 88 is driven, and the transporting frame 72 of the disk cassette 10 is led in and shifted to the specified place in this condition. Moreover, the disk cassette 10 carried in by a carrying in/out device is provisionally mounted on an optical disk device 3. Then, by reading out single face information of a disk by the optical disk device 3, the transporting frame 72 is rotated in the decided direction of a reference face based on the information for discriminating which is a face A or B, and the disk cassette is contained in empty parts of the containing racks 15a and 15b in the same direction.
