摘要： PURPOSE:To keep the temperature of a wheel bead section at the protective temperature or below of a tire during the braking from the highest speed and tow a high-speed moving body via a tire travel after it is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water is injected to wheel bead sections 23, 30 of a wheel from nozzles 22, 29 of a water cooling device to forcefully cool the wheel bead sections 23, 30 with the cooling water. During the braking from the vehicle highest speed 500km/h (braking energy: 6X10 kgf-m), the wheel bead sections 23, 30 do not exceed the protective temperature of 180 deg.C of a tire 1, no deformation or no fusion is generated on the tire bead sections, the pressure air in the tire 1 is not leaked to the outside from the contact sections between the wheel bead sections 23, 30 and the tire bead sections, and the vehicle can be towed via a tire travel after it is stopped.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable it to support a wheel at the specified position through a simple structure by interposing an expansion cylinder and a cushion unit between a trailing arm supporting the wheel free of rocking motion and a car body, and installing a mechanism locking an axial displacement and its releasing mechanism both in this expansion cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A wheel 40 is supported on a car body 50 free of rocking motion via a trailing arm 43, and an expansion cylinder and a compressed gas-filled cushion unit 16 both are interposed between the trailing arm 43 and the car body 50 in series. In addition, two segments 13 and 14 are installed in an inner part of this expansion cylinder as a mechanism locking the axial displacement of a piston 2 at both the expansion and contraction positions, through which the wheel 40 is locked to a lifting position and a traveling road surface (51) position. At the time of being locked, two subpistons 2B and 2A are displaced to some extent and operates as a lock releasing mechanism only when hydraulic pressure is supplied in an extension direction at the contraction position and in a contraction direction at the extension position.

The eccentric fitting 17 is turned for the bracket 16, and a relative height position of the pin 18 for the bracket 16 is changed to adjust a mounting height of the support leg due to the combination of the holes 16a, 19a provided in the bracket 16 and the rudder 19.

SOLUTION: This is a support leg device in a linear vehicle which can raise and lower a wheel 3 supported in an overhang manner at one end of a trailing arm 11 whose the other end is supported on a bogie frame 1 due to coming in and out of a rod of a cylinder 13 whose one end is supported on the bogie frame 1. A width B of a support part 11b for the bogie frame 1 at one end of the trailing arm 11 is increased to eliminate eccentricity of the support part 11b and the wheel 3 for a center C in the direction of width. Consequently, since reaction force acting on the support part for the bogie frame of the trailing arm is reduced, the inclination of the trailing arm is reduced, and unstable vibration for a vehicle does not occur, even if a rickety motion occurs in a bearing in the support part.

The generated steam is directly blown against the rotor 6 and the stator 7 from a nozzle 11 at the upper part of the water injecting device 10, leading to decrease of the temperature of the rotor 6 and the stator 7.

But when the arm 22 is lowered and the auxiliary supporting wheel 21 is grounded, a boss 31 mounted on the arm 22 is engaged with an engagement hole 33 of a bracket 32 disposed on a carrier frame 1, the arm 22 is brought into a condition that both ends of the arm 22 are fixed, that is, its point is fixed in addition to the fixing of its basic end. Whereby the arm 22 is totally stabilized and firmly supported, and the generation of shimmy as the lateral vibration of the auxiliary supporting wheel 2 and the arm 22 is prevented.
