CONSTITUTION:The circulation liquid of a snow melting panel buried in a road is heated through a water heat exchanger 11 by a coolant whose temperature is raised by a heat pump compressor 10, and used for melting the snow on the road surface, and the liberated heat is recovered from the outside air by an air heat exchanger 13, and a heat pump cycle is formed. Then, the outside air taken in from an intake grating 20 is discharged from an exhaust grating 26 in the course of the air streams 30, 31, 32 and 34, and the ventilation in a room is performed. Then, the gratings 20 and 26 and a ceiling plate 23 are heated by the electrical heat or the branched stream of the circulation liquid of the exchanger 11, and the piling of snow and ice freezing are prevented. The intruding molten water is separated by an intake louver 22 and an exhaust louver 24 and discharged outside. Further, the circulation liquid is allowed to branched-flow in the rectangular pipe 60 of the uppermost edge frame, and an atmosphere opened vent pipe is installed as expansion tank. Accordingly, the upper surface of the device can be made same to the ground surface, and the installation under the ground can be executed in simple manner.

    • PURPOSE:To improve safety and profitability by a method wherein reaching to specified height of a snow cover on an inclined roof is detected while operating a heating element, a roofing material is heated, the bottom of snow is melted and the snow cover is slipped off gradually. CONSTITUTION:When a snow cover on an inclined roof exceeds a preset fixed value, the control section 14 of a snow cover detector 11 outputs a snow-cover detecting signal. The signal is input to a controller 20, and a heating wire 6 is conducted and heated while a roofing material is heated by the heat. The bottom of snow lying on the roof is melted, and a snow cover is slipped off gradually without acceleration from the inclined face of the roof. When the snow cover on the roof is lowered to the fixed value or less, the lowering of the snow cover is detected and the heat generation of the heating wire 6 is completed. Accordingly, energy can be economized owing to a small quantity of melting, and an injury to men and beasts at the time of a snow fall and noises and vibrations can be prevented, and a site can be utilized effectively because of a small snow-fall flying distance.
