摘要： PURPOSE:The titled structure in which the number and size of fine pores on the polyester fiber are set in a certain range and the polyester fiber is coated with a polymer of low refractive index after dyed, thus showing colors of increased deepness and brightness, improved resistance to washing and reducing discoloration caused by friction. CONSTITUTION:The polyester fiber has fine pores which are oriented in the fiber axis direction and, at least, a part of the fine pores connect with one another inside the outer layer so that the pores distribute on the lines connecting all the points on the outer periphery with the center of the fiber cross section and the distance from the outer periphery is more than 5mum. The pore size is 0.1-3mum at the maximum in the frequency distribution. After dyed, the pored polyester fiber is coated with a pollmer of lower refractive index thab that of the polyester fiber.

摘要： PURPOSE:The titled structure in which polyester fiber containing a specific substance is treated with an alkali to form fine pores and covered with a polymer of low refractive index after dyed, thus showing deep and bright color and satisfactorily withstanding the discoloration caused by friction. CONSTITUTION:Orthophosphoric acid (a) in an amount of 0.3-5mol% based on the dicarboxylic acid component and a manganese compound and/or a magnesium compound (b) in an amount of 1.2-2 times the molar quantity of the orthophosphoric acid are added to a polyester and they are melt spun into fiber. Then, the fiber is treated with an alkali to form a number of fine pores. After dyed, the pored polyester fiber is coated with a polymer of lower refractive index than that of the polyester fiber on the surface. The fine pores are arranged in the fiber axis direction and their vertical width to the fiber axis is 0.1-0.3 microns and their length along the axis is 0.1-5microns at the maximum of the frequency distribution.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain the titled fibers having a high whiteness at a low cost, by forming composite fibers in which a polymer having a higher iodine adsorption rate is present on the surface of the fibers, adsorbing iodine on the fibers, and treating the fibers with an aqueous solution of a cuprous compound.
CONSTITUTION: Composite fibers consisting of two polymers, e.g. a copolyester and polyethylene terephthalate, having substanially different iodine adsorption rates are formed so that a polymer, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, having a higher iodine adsorption rate may constitute at least part of the fibrous surfaces. Iodine is then adsorbed on the formed composite fibers to give fibers in which the iodine is adsorbed. The fibers are then treated with an aqueous solution of a cuprous compound, e.g. cuprous chloride, to afford the aimed fibers containing cuprous iodide therein. Preferably, the polymer having a higher iodine adsorption rate occupies 5W 50% cross-sectional area of the fibers.

摘要： PURPOSE:Hollow fibers of polyester containing a specific sulfonate metal salt are treated with alkali so that fine pores are formed all over the cross section and a part of them come through to the hollow part, thus producing hollow fibers with high water and moisture absorption and high durability. CONSTITUTION:When (A) a polyester obtained from (a) difunctinal carboxylic acids mainly containing terephthalic acid or their ester-forming derivatives and (b) 2-6C alkylene glycols or their ester-forming derivatives is melt spun, (B) a compound of the furmula [M, M' are metal (preferably Na or K); n is 1, 2; R is ester- forming functional group] is added to the polyester before spinning to produce hollow fibers. The resultant fibers are treated with an aqueous solution of an alkali compound, preferably sodium hydroxide to leach out 2-50wt% of the fiber, thereby forming fine pores which are distributed over the fiber surface and head toward the fiber center wherein a part of them comes through to the hollow part.
