    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide filament nonwoven fabric of high isotropism.
      SOLUTION: A method for producing the filament nonwoven fabric is provided, comprising the following process: Filaments are first produced, having such a structure as to be divisible into two or more kinds of filaments, wherein at least one kind thereof is thermoshrinkable. Just after spun, the above filaments are collected and laminated on a net, and then interlaced and mechanically divided and thereafter subjected to hot water shrinkage. The above steps are consecutively and successively conducted. It is preferable that the single filament fineness of the filaments after divided be 0.5-0.001 dtex and the polymers constituting the filaments be a polyester and a polyamide. Furthermore, it is preferable that the hot water shrinking step comprise catching the filament nonwoven fabric immersed and floating in hot water on a water-permeable substrate and water in the nonwoven fabric be continuously removed following the hot water shrinking step.

      SOLUTION: The method for producing leather-like sheet material comprises applying adhesive on either a fibrous base material or a film layer, bonding the fibrous base material and the film layer, and drying the adhesive. The adhesive is a water type one, contains microcapsules thermally expanding at ≥80°C, and is stable at lower temperature than that causing heat expansion of the microcapsules. Condition for drying comprises at least two processes of a preliminary drying process at a temperature where the adhesive is stable, and a main drying process at ≥80°C. The method further comprises a bonding process of nipping the sheet material with a heat roller at 100-150°C after the main drying process.

Preferably, the fiber constituting the nonwoven fabric is a splittable conjugate fiber, the nonwoven fabric is a filament nonwoven fabric, and the fabric is impregnated with a silicone resin before the drying step.
