    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: iron phosphate lithium small in dispersion of particle diameters and particle size distributions among manufacturing lots, and having a characteristic particularly suitably used for part of a positive electrode material of a secondary battery; a manufacturing method capable of synthesizing it with good repeatability; and a secondary battery exhibiting high capacity and a stable secondary battery characteristic.
      SOLUTION: In the iron phosphate lithium, the particle size distribution measured by a laser diffraction scattering method is a mathematically normal distribution, the center value of the particle size distribution is 5.3 μm, and the particle size of the particles up to 10% from the minimum particle size is 2.2 μm.
