    • PURPOSE: To miniaturize an electromagnetic solenoid in an appropriate size and to guarantee an operation which is stabilized for long time by providing a recessed fit part where a part of a card insertion port is recessed into a card insertion path. CONSTITUTION: An IC card reader 2 is provided with a casing that consists of a surrounding wall 3 whose front part is opened, a shallow dish-type cover 4 which covers the upper part of the surrounding wall 3 and in which rectangular window 4a is formed and a front member 5 blocking the front part of the surrounding wall 3, and that is formed by synthetic resins for the whole part. The front member 5 consists of an expansion part 5a expanding out to a front- side and the recessed fit part 5b which is recessed into the card insertion path. A slit-formed card insertion port 6 straddling the expansion part 5a and the recessed fit part 5b is pieraced. The card 1 is held in the card insertion path by the attraction of a magnet and the card 1 is discharged from the card insertion path by compulsorily discharging a part of the card exposed from the recessed fit part 5b against the attraction of the magnet. Then, a connection member is moved without engagement with other members at that time.

    • PURPOSE: To realize cleaning at all times without the need of special management by stretching the card abutting part-side of an abutting member by projecting an end part where the extension part of the abutting member is abutted on the terminating part of a card insertion path in a card returning direction. CONSTITUTION: A rectangular groove formed long toward a front direction from the center is pierced for an upper plate 6a. A locking projecting 10 is projected on the surface of the upper plate at the trailing end part of the groove. An end part 11 protruded backward from the locking projection 10 by length L is projected at the back of the upper plate. An engaging part 17a engaged to the front end surface of a mover 14 is projected at the upper end of the abutting member 17 which is supported to a pivot supporting part 14b by a shaft 16 so that is can freely rock, an abutting part 17b on which a card 1 is abutted is formed at the center part and the stretched part 17c stretched to the lower part of the guide window 20a of a bottom plate 20 is formed at a lower end. When the stretched part 17 of the abutting member 17 is collided with the end part 11 in the trailing end part of the card insertion path, the abutting member rocks and the move 14 farther from the end part 11 compared to the IC card 1 nearer to the end part moves much more.
