CONSTITUTION: A vibrator 20 is held so that the vertical movement of the vibrator 20 can be controlled between a pair of ring-like mats 19 which are formed of elastic members and pressed by pins 24 on a ceiling board 23 and pins 18 on a base in point-contacting states. At the same time, the vicinity of the soldered parts 30a and 31a of lead wires 30 and 31 are held and fixed between the mats 19 and vibrator 20. Therefore, the load of the wires 30 and 31 to the vibrator 20 is remarkably reduced, because the high-frequency power side part of the lead wires 30 and 31 from the soldered parts 30a and 31a do not become the load of the vibrator 20. Therefore, the vibrator 20 can vibrate in an excellent state and a mobile rail can be moved smoothly and sufficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To improve drive efficiency by making a phase difference between electric signals variable, and by setting the phase difference to a value more than 90 degrees in a ultrasonic motor in which a rotor is driven by providing electric signals, which have the same drive frequency but differ from each other in phase, to two electrodes formed on a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:With respect to an ultrasonic motor M that rotates a rotor by vibration of piezoelectric ceramic, a driving device is made up of a CPU 1, an oscillator 2, a shift register 3, data selectors 4 and 5, a filter 6, and a driver 7. To cope with a drop in driving torque of the piezoelectric ceramic having a small diameter, a phase difference control signal 'c' is provided to the data selector 4, and a phase difference between a signal 'd' and a signal 'e' which are inputted to the data selector 5 is changed to a value more than 90 degrees. The signal having a phase difference of more than 90 degrees is applied to each electrode of the ultrasonic motor M. Thereby, an amplitude value of vibration of torque components of the piezoelectric element is made large, and hence driving efficiency of the ultrasonic motor M can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To lower high-frequency voltage to low voltage, and to reduce power consumption by increasing the speed of a transferred member by the elastic deformation of a displacement transmission member mounted on a section abutted against the linear member of a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A comb-tooth-shaped displacement transmission member 3 formed of a friction material is interposed at the abutting point P1 of a diaphragm 1 and a movable rail 11. The displacement transmission member 3 is formed of engineering plastics having a high Young' s modulus, excellent heat resistance and superior workability. When an elliptic motion is conducted at the point P1 of the diaphragm 1, the elliptic motion is transmitted over the movable rail 11 through the displacement transmission member 3. The comb- tooth sections 5 of the displacement transmission member 3 are elastically deformed at that time, and the quantity of the elliptic motion worked is increased by the restoring force of the elastic deformation, thus augmenting the quantity of the movable rail 11 transferred. Accordingly, a shifter at high voltage need not be used as high-frequency voltage, thus reducing power consumption.

Then, the first piezoelectric element 20 extends and contracts in the direction of arrow A, and the plate-shaped vibrating plate 13 is vibrated in the transport direction. Whole, the second piezoelectric elements 21 and 22 are extended and contracted in the respective surface directions, and the vibration in the radial direction is generated on the disc-shaped vibrating plates 16 and 17. These movements are synthesized to form the multimode vibration, and a transport force is generated by the contact between a vibrating body 1 and a transport board 2, and a card 1 is transported. With this constitution, the number of parts and assembly manhour can be reduced, and the weight can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE: To absorb the vibration of the surfaces of mobile rails so as to easily control and smoothly move the rails by elastically holding a vibrator between means which forcibly push the rails while they are faced to each other in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the rails. CONSTITUTION: The transmitting members 22 of a vibrator 20 are brought into contact with the contacting surfaces 12b of a pair of mobile rails 12 and put in ball bearings 11 in the V-shaped grooves 12a of the rails 12. When the members 22 are put in the bearings 11, a C-direction moving habit is given to a right-side guide member 7 and a D-direction moving habit is given to a left-side guide member 7 by springs 10 and moving habits are given to the rails 12 in opposite directions. Therefore, the vibrator 20 is horizontally held between the rails 12. Therefore, even when the mirror-finished contacting surfaces 12b of the rails 12 vibrate, the vibration can be absorbed, because the vibrator 20 finely vibrates together with the rails 12 in the horizontal direction.

CONSTITUTION:Both of oscillators 51 and 61 vertically oscillate flexuously when AC current is applied to them. In this case, if paper sheets 7 are carried by a carrying roller 2 while being in a laminated condition, a projection 62 is rotated couterclockwise as the center section of the oscillator 61 at the carrying roller 2 side is bent downward, the apex angle of the projection 62 is thereby brought into contact with the first paper 71, so that the paper sheet 71 is moved to the carrying direction. On the other hand, a projection 52 is rotated counterclockwise as the center section of the oscillator 51 at a separator 4 side is bent downward. In this case, since the apex angle of the projection 51 is separated from the apex angle of the projection 61 by the thickness of one of the papers 7, the apex angle of the projection 62 is brought into contact with the second paper sheet 72 of the paper sheet 7 which is carried while being in a laminar layer condition, so that the paper sheet 72 is moved to the reverse carrying direction.

CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element (piezoelectric ceramic) 9 which is the driving source of an ultrasonic motor for card transfer and is vibrated by a specific frequency signal to generate a torque for card transfer, a thermistor 10 which detects the temperature of the piezoelectric ceramic 9 and a control means 5-8 which outputs a voltage signal corresponding to a frequency not to operate the ultrasonic motor in accordance with the detection output of the thermistor 10 are provided. That is, when the temperature of the piezoelectric ceramic 9 is not higher than a predetermined value, the voltage signal corresponding to the frequency not to operate the ultrasonic motor is outputted. With this constitution, the temperature of the piezoelectric ceramic 9 can be elevated by a very weak voltage and the take-in operation of a card can be stabilized.
