    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical loading testing method of the directly under ground confirming availability of the directly under ground of a structure without pulling down a foundation of the existing structure.
      SOLUTION: A part of a foundation slab coming into contact with the ground surface of the existing structure is separated from the peripheral part in a predetermined size and shape to form a loading slab. A loading testing jack together with a load meter and a displacement meter are installed on the loading slab in an approximately vertical posture to have such a constitution that loading test reaction force is taken in a beam of the existing structure or a slab, and the jack is driven to perform a loading test. After the completion of the loading test, the loading slab is removed to restore the foundation slab, alternatively the loading slab is again combined with the foundation slab to restore the foundation slab.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent muddy water or the like from erupting while a compaction pile is driven in by a method wherein the front end of a guide pipe is shielded watertightly with a covering material equipped with a plurality of cut grooves, and a plurality of such guide pipes are integrally attached to a reinforcing bar basket to be used for construction of a continuous underground wall. CONSTITUTION:A guide pipe 1 is constructed in such structure that the front end thereof is shielded watertightly with a cover 12. A number of cut grooves 15 are formed on the cover 12 so that the grooves extend radially from the center of the cover, and thereby breaking of the cover by driving-in of a compaction pile 2 is made easy. A reinforcing material in upside-down conical shape in 45 deg. inclination is provided to the inside of the guide pipe for making correction to centering of the compaction pile 2 easy. Then a specified number of guide pipes 1 are integrally attached to appropriate positions of a reinforcing bar basket 4 for cast-in-place concrete 3, and are inserted together with the reinforcing bar basket 4 into an excavated hole. Thereby the compaction piles 2 can be driven correctly into point ground and water accompanying excavation and underground water erupting around the compaction piles can be prevented from flowing backward.
