Now, when it is assumed that a measuring point 1 moved from the point C to a point C' with respect to the reference position 3, the up-and-down direction displacement quantity Dv and horizontal direction displacement quantity Dh of the measuring point 1 are calculated from formulae I, II. The electric signals corresponding to d1 and d2 outputted from a displacement meter 8 and an angle detector 9 are inputted to an operator performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and square etc. and operated on the basis of the formulae I, II to obtain the vertical direction displacement quantity Dv and horizontal direction displacement Dh of the measuring point 1.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a large-sized building equipped with an opening/closing large roof which is comparatively light, which is of a self-balancing structure, and with which the horizontal displacement at each end of a roof framework can be suppressed to zero even though any abnormal external force acts on. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of driving elements which are mobile along a guide path are furnished on the oversurface of a peripheral wall, etc., and a shell-form steel framing 23A in the shape curved upward in the frontal view and a shell- form steel framing 23B in the shape curved downward in the frontal view are coupled together at least at their ends so that a roof framework 23 is formed. At a certain spacing in the large roof moving direction, a plurality of control strings 25 are arranged between the two ends of this roof framework 23, and the two ends of each control string 25 are coupled with the ends of the roof framework 23 so that it is embodied in a structure of self-balance system. The two side ends of the roof framework 23 are supported by the driving elements, and roofing material, etc., is fixed to the framework 23 to constitute an open/ close type large roof. The framework 23 can always maintain the structure of self-balance system by controlling the control strings 25 in accordance with the force acting on the open/close type large roof.

SOLUTION: The multiple polygnal pyramidal type link mechanism 10 of the form variable roof frame RF is composed of a polygonal pyramidal type external link 11, a polygonal pyramidal type intermediate link 12 superposed and arranged on the upper side of the external link 11, and at least one polygonal pyramidal type internal link 13 superposed and disposed on the upper side of the intermediate link 12. The external-ridgeline section connecting members 14 of the external link 11 are supported by each working platform 21 at that time, and each external-ridgeline section connecting member 14 is moved by a constant distance in the direction approaching to the apex Vt of a polygonal pyramidal form by a driving device and brought to a close state, and moved by a constant distance in the direction separate from the apex Vt by the driving device and brought to an open state.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof frame which is simple in the structure, presents good operating and shape-holding characteristics, and can be constructed at a low cost. SOLUTION: A multi-polygonal link mechanism 10 of a roof frame RF is composed of an outside regular polygonal link mechanism 11, an intermediate regular polygonal link mechanism 12 formed by tying the middle points of the links of the link mechanism 11 one by one, and an inside regular polygonal link mechanism 13 formed by tying the middle points of the links of the intermediate link mechanism 12 one by one. A frame 16 is furnished as mating with the crests of the outside link mechanism 11, and supporting thereby is made so that it is possible to move along the radially stretching line passing the crests of outer crest coupling shafts 14a, which are moved by a drive device for a certain distance toward the center so that a closed condition is established and also moved for a certain distance in the direction apart from the center so that the open condition is generated. Thus the link mechanisms 11-13 are built by coupling link members 11a-13a rotatably using the coupling shafts 14a-14d, so that the roof frame RF can be fabricated easily.
