    • PURPOSE: To make the chipping operation of pile head easier as well as reduce the occurrence of noise and vibration by a method in which an aqueous solution of a viscous high molecular compound is added to and mixed with the extra- banking portion of the heat of a concrete pile to lower the setting property of concrete in the extra-banking portion.
      CONSTITUTION: Concrete 1 for in-situ pile is placed, and then water mixed with a viscous high molecular compound is injected into the concrete 1. The amount of the high molecular compound to be added is controlled to 0.1W5.0% of the weight of water. When they are mixed while turning a propeller-shaped mixer 2, the concrete 1a of the extra-banking portion becomes of much lower strength. The pile head treating operation is ended by partly using a motor driven pick. The needs for breaker or compressor can thus be eliminated, and the total cost for treating the pile head can be greatly curtailed.

    • PURPOSE:To improve building efficiency and safety, by a method wherein water permeable concrete is cast in place directly on the concrete bottom of a dock, and a sheathing board is placed for concreting to build an off-shore structure. CONSTITUTION:Water permeable concrete 2 is cast in place directly on a concrete bottom 1 of a dock, and a sheathing board 4 of forms for a concrete box body 3 is placed thereon. Thereafter, concrete 5 is placed to build the concrete box body 3 which forms the lower part of an off-shore structure. When water is poured in the dock, the water is leached all the way through to the surface of the concrete 2 and is spread throughout the whole under surface of the sheathing board 4. The sheathing board is caused to float in an extremely stable state depending upon the depth of the poured water. This, since neither board wood nor a temporary material are used, enables provision of a stable working bed, and permits building of a dock which is excellent in building efficiency and safety.
