    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to unfailingly detect the flow of a wind with accuracy regardless strong winds and/or a turbulent flow by installing a photoelectric sensor in non-floating or floating part of the floating element of a guiding portion. CONSTITUTION:A floating element 9 which is caused to float up by the flow 8 of a wind through a standing tubular guiding portion 7 is provided within the guiding portion 7, and shelfs 26 for preventing the floating element 9 from getting out of the portion are provided in upper and lower openings 7a, 7b of the guiding portion 7, respectively, and the opening 7b of its lower end is mounted thereto so as to be in contact with the flow 8 of a wind. The ends of a projecting cable 10a and a light receiving cable 10b each of which ends is carried out of a photoelectric sensor 10 are mounted to respective mounting portions of the non-floating part of the floating element 9 of the guiding portion 7 so as to form a light projecting portion and a light receiving portion, respectively. Light signals output from the light projecting portion are reflected by the floating element 9 during the absence of the flow 8 of a wind so as to be put in the light receiving portion, which detects the absence of the flow of a wind accordingly. The floating element 9 moves upwardly during the presence of the flow 8 of wind so that light signals output from the light projecting portion will not be put in the light receiving portion because of the absence of the reflecting face of the floating element 9, and the flow of a wind is thereby detected.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a reinforcing method for an existing beam which has good efficiency of execution of a reinforcing work and can form a large-diameter opening without damaging the strength, rigidity and deformation capacity. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical part 22 of a reinforcing body 20 is inserted in an opening 11 from the side of a beam 10, and bolts 15 passed through plural bolt passing holes 21b bored in the plate part 21 of the reinforcing body 20 is screwed in a female screw body 13 buried in a beam to fit the reinforcing body 20 to the beam 10. Clearances 30 are respectively formed between the inside surface of the plate part 21 and the side of the beam 10 and between the inner peripheral surface of the opening 11 of the beam and the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 22. The clearances 30 are filled up with an adhesive agent, and the adhesive agent is hardened to fix the reinforcing body 20 to the beam 10. Accordingly, as the cylindrical part 22 of the reinforcing body is fixed in the opening 11, even if concentrated oblique tension stress is applied to the inner peripheral area of the opening, the stress is received by the cylindrical part of the reinforcing body, so that the inner peripheral area of the opening can not be broken and a large-diameter opening can be formed without damaging the strength, rigidity and deforming capacity.
