    • PURPOSE:To enable early discovery of a defective point before completion by fluctuating the pressure in a test piping by the combination of pressurizing means and a stop valve so that the fatigue in the potential defective part is accelerated. CONSTITUTION:A storage tank 1, a pressurizing pump 2 and a test piping 3 are connected respectively to each other by means of pipings 4, 5. When the pressure in the piping 3 is increased by driving the pump 2 and opening or closing a stop valve 8 by operating a open/shut driving mechanism 9, the pressure in the piping 3 is decreased sharply by the opening of the valve 8. The pressure increases again when the valve is closed. The discharging rate of water is adjusted by a valve 10, and the period for opening and closing the valve is adjusted by the mechanism 9, by which the pressure is set at the fluctuating width which is most suitable for the test sample. If the pressure in the test piping is fluctuated in such a way, a dynamic pressure is continuously exerted on the joint part which is a potential defective part, by which the fatigue is accelerated and leakage of water is generated.
