    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding a scarf joint capable of improving efficiency of bonding operation by automatically bonding both board materials wherein a scarf joint part is provided at its end part. SOLUTION: Board materials (a) and (b) wherein adhesives are applied to scarf joint parts 1 of end parts to be bonded mutually are supported by a fixed surface plate 13 and a sliding surface plate 14 arranged freely movably to the fixed surface plate 13, and the board material (a) positioned on the fixed surface plate 13 is fixedly fastened by pressing with a pressure fastening board 28. The board material (b) positioned on the sliding surface plate 14 is fixedly fastened by pressing with a pressure fastening board 32 capable of moving integrally with the sliding surface plate 14. By making the sliding surface plate 14 approach the fixed surface plate 13, automatically positioning of the scarf joint part 1 of both board materials (a) and (b) is carried out, and both board materials are pressure welded via the adhesives. The pressure weld part is pressurized from a superimposed direction by a central pressure fastening board 36. Under a state wherein a surface pressure is applied, electrodes 37 and 38 are brought in direct contact to the adhesive layer from both sides, and high frequency is applied directly to the adhesive layer to bond the board materials (a) and (b).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material connection composer in which yield of the plate material is enhanced by enabling escape of excess force feeding pressure at the time of press-insertion of a joint part provided in the plate material, preventing the plate material from being curved, preventing generation of a step in the joint part and preventing the plate material from being bent. SOLUTION: In the plate material connection composer, the joint parts of both plate materials 2 are press-inserted and connected by respectively clamping and sticking the plate materials 2 in which joint parts are worked in the end parts to be mutually connected, by a stationary clamping machine 11 and a movable clamping machine 12 arranged freely movably forwards and backwards for the stationary clamping clamping machine 11 and by allowing the movable clamping machine 12 to approach and move for the stationary clamping machine 11. A supporting base 13 of the stationary clamping machine 11 and the movable clamping machine 12 is provided. Cover plates A, B and C, D clamping the plate materials 2 from the upper and lower sides are provided in a press-insertion supporting base 17 and in the plate material-clamping faces of clamping plates 16, 22. Such arrangement is obtained that the cover plates A, B and C, D pinch and hold the joint parts of both plate materials 2 from the upper and lower sides at the time of clamping the plate materials. Excess force feeding pressure at the time of press-insertion connection process is escaped by a slip of the cover plates A, B and C, D and the plate materials 2.
