      SOLUTION: In the member joining method, a plurality of members 19 and 20 are joined with each other by overlapping the plurality of members 19 and 20 and simultaneously drawing them. The method comprises a step of overlapping and loading the plurality of members 19 and 20 on a die 12 with a pattern 15 formed therein, a step of pressing the plurality of members 19 and 20 on the die 12 by a stripper 13 with a punch guide hole 16 formed at the position corresponding to the pattern 15, and a step of simultaneously pressing the plurality of members 19 and 20 by a punch 14 guided along the punch guide hole 16 to perform the drawing thereof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubeless heat exchanger capable of ensuring a sufficient compressive strength while preventing corrosion of a raised part of a fin.
      SOLUTION: The aluminum-made tubeless heat exchanger is constituted by forming a plurality of passages 8 by laminating fins 2 having a plurality of through-holes 6 and mutually connecting the passages 8. The raised part 7 is formed along the peripheral part of each through-hole 6, and each fin 2 is formed so that the thickness reduction rate of the raised part 7 is within the range of 15% to 50%.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tubeless heat exchangers causing neither cracking nor damage without applying load to the rising parts of fins.
      SOLUTION: The tubeless heat exchangers 11, 21, 31 are provided with cores 13 formed with a plurality of passages 16 by laminating the fins 12 formed with the rising parts 15 along the peripheral edge parts and having a plurality of through holes 14, and connecting members 22, 34, 45 for connecting the passages 16 of the cores 13 to each other. The end part of the core 13 is provided with a support plate 19. A connecting hole 20 is formed in the support plate 19, corresponding to the passage 16 of the core 13, and a bent part 21 is formed along the peripheral edge part of the connecting hole 20. The connecting members 22, 34, 45 are fixed to the bent parts 21 to connect the passages 16 to each other through the support plate 19.
