    • PURPOSE:To separate snow and air efficiently by providing a collision plate vertically from the upper section of a housing having a snow supply port and an air exhaust port in the upper section and providing partition plates in the intermediate section and on the bottom respectively. CONSTITUTION:A collision plate 12 is vertically mounted from the upper section of a housing 11 which has a snow supply pipe 111 and an air exhaust port 112 in the upper section and a snow discharge port 113 on the bottom. Partition plates 13, 14 are mounted to separate upper and lower storage chambers 15, 16 to constitute a snow separator 10a. Upper and lower spaces than stored snow 17 may be made equal in pressure by providing a conduit pipe 18 on the four corners of the storage chambers 15, 16 to facilitate drop on the snow 17, or the height may be reduced by arranging snow separation units provided with a single partition value in a row. Suctioned snow and air are separated by the collision plate 12, and the partition plates 13, 14 are operated alternately to drop the snow 17 on the partition plate 13 and discharge snow intermittently from the storage chamber 16.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the pollution and improve the refuse-collecting efficiency in the captioned system applied to a wide area such as between high buildings and a refuse collecting base by placing a capsule, which the refuse can freely be put in or discharged from, on a carriage and making the carriage travel in a pipe passage by means of an air flow between refuse-discharging spots and the refuse-collecting base. CONSTITUTION:At each refuse-discharging station 1, refuse is put into a capsule. The capsule is then placed on a carriage, which has arrived in the station 1 together with an empty capsule, replacing the empty capsule. The carriage, on which the capsule filled with refuse is put, is transported to a refuse collecting base 2 by means of an air flow, using a collecting pipe line 'a'. When the carriage arrives at the collecting base 2, the capsule is replaced with an empty capsule, and the carriage is returned to the discharge station 1. The capsule, which has been carried to the base 2 and which is filled with refuse, is placed on another carriage and sent to a processing factory 3 by using a transporting pipe line 'b', via collecting bases 2, in turn. The emptied capsule is returned in turn, to the base 2, following the opposite course. Thus, a collection of classified garbage and rubbish can be made, covering a wide area, without causing pollution.
