    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an Al-Mg-Si based aluminum alloy plate for press molding having excellent bending property and an Al-Mg-Si based aluminum alloy plate for press molding. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is directed for manufacturing the Al-Mg-Si based aluminum alloy plate having an orientation density (random ratio) of not smaller than 20 in the Cube orientation of the texture and orientation densities of not greater than 10 in the orientations other than the Cube orientation. This alloy plate is manufactured by the steps of: hot-rolling an ingot including, by mass%, 0.5-2.0% Si, 0.2-1.5% Mg, at least one element among not more than 1.0% Cu, not more than 0.5% Zn, not more than 0.5% Fe, not more than 0.3% Mn, not more than 0.3% Cr, not more than 0.2% V, not more than 0.15% Zr, not more than 0.1% Ti, and not more than 0.005% B, and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities; cold-rolling the hot-rolled plate at a rolling reduction of 55-90%; softening the cold-rolled plate at 150-350°C so as not to be completely recrystallized; cold-rolling it at a rolling reduction of 3-30%; solution-treating it; and quenching it.
