摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back guard which can easily be fitted in a gap formed between a shelf plate and a wall surface with a good appearance, and in addition, is structurally simple as well.SOLUTION: The back guard 6 for shelf apparatus is configured to include a shelf plate 3 having right and left sides supported by a shelf reception body 2 attached to a shelf post body 1 set along the wall surface W and projecting forward. The back guard 6 has an upper plate section 60 and a lower plate section 61, and has a configuration in which a lower back surface 60a of the upper plate section 60 and an upper front surface 61a of the lower plate section 61 are integrated with each other. A section located below the lower end 60c of the upper plate section 60 is formed as an insertion section 62 to be inserted into a space between the wall surface W and the rear end 3a of the shelf plate 3, in the lower plate section 61. The lower end 60c of the upper plate section 60 is formed as an abutment section 63 for the top surface of the shelf plate 3. Further, a section located above the upper end 61b of the lower plate section 61 is formed as a gripping section 64, in the upper plate section 60.
