    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cavitation in an internal gear pump by forming a recessed part ranging from the tooth surface side of an outer rotor to the outer peripheral surface side on the side surface of the rotor and allowing a pumping chamber to communicate to a suction port through the recessed part. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 8 which ranges from a tooth surface side to the outer peripheral side is formed on the edge surface 1a on the cover side of an outer rotor 1. The recessed part 8 allows a pumping chamber formed between the inner and outer rotors 1 and 2 to communicate to a suction port 15 side through a communication passage 5a, at the position where a suction port 5 is close to the outer periphery of the outer rotor 1 through a passage 9 formed between the outer rotor 1 and a cover 4. Therefore, the sharp transfer of fluid which is caused by the shortage of the sectional area of the suction port 5 is prevented, and generation of cavitation is prevented even in the high speed revolution.

    • PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of working reference plane and to produce a sintered member having high accuracy by forming small projection at upper face or lower face of a green compact at the time of compacting metal powder and machining it after sintering. CONSTITUTION:At the time of compacting the metal powder, by arranging three or more of small recessed parts 3 at part of the upper or lower punch 2, (5), the metal powder is compacted to make the green compact 7 having small injection 3 at the upper face or the lower face. After sintering the green compact 7, it is pushed in a die 8 together with a center rod 6 with upper and lower punch 2, 5 by press, and size thereof is corrected to make the sizing sintered compact 4. The grinding, cutting, etc., is executed to the sizing sintered compact 4 while using the plane having the projection 3 as the reference plane, to finish to the finish sintered member 1. The shape of the projection 3 is to be ring-state, etc., and height thereof is to be about 0.05-0.5 mm.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the measurement of clearance and to improve the precision thereof by a method wherein a clearance gage is not employed and a clearance of a part for measurement is measured from an amount of transfer of an outer gear which is moved by pressing in the back-and-forth direction in relation to a fixed inner gear. CONSTITUTION:An inner gear 1 and an outer gear 2 engaging with each other are so set that a tooth space of the former and a tooth of the latter fit in with each other exactly on the center line. A dial gage 16 is made to contact with the right end of the outer gear 2 in this state, so as to read the position this gear. With the pressing force of a spring 10 of a pressing element 9 reduced, subsequently, a knob 12 is rotated to press a pressing element 11 and thereby to transfer the outer gear 2 onto the left side. The dial gage 16 is made to contact with the right end of the outer gear 2 at the position whereat the transfer of the outer gear stops, so as to read the position thereof. By calculating the difference between the relative positions of the outer gear, a clearance in a part to be measured of an internal gear can be measured simply with high precision.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify construction and to prevent failure by receiving lower punches during compression by a base plate and driving cylinder actuators connected to the respective lower punches to remove the molding from dies after the compression and to reset the lower punches to the home positions. CONSTITUTION:A powder material D is supplied into a cavity 3 and an upper punch 11 descends and is inserted into the cavity. A die 1 descends as well together with the plate 2 and yoke plate 9 to start the compression. The lower punch 6 descends as well together with a holder 10 at the same instant. The holder 10 is received by the base plate 7 to complete the compression when the die 1 and the upper punch 11 descend down to the prescribed position. The die 1, driven by a lower ram B, continues to descend even after the completion of the compression so that the top surface of the die 1 is brought lower than the top surface of the upper punch 6. The molding is thus removed from the die. The cylinder actuators 20 are thereafter driven and the upper punch 5 is lifted up to the position where an adjusting ring 27 contacts the surface 28. The molding is thereby removed from the upper punch 6.
