    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble optical transceiver facilitating component connection and having a wavelength division multiplexing function.
      SOLUTION: An optical transceiver 1 performs photoelectric conversion between a plurality of light signals of different wavelengths and a plurality of corresponding electric signals. The optical transceiver 1 includes: a wavelength selection filter for multiplexing or branching a plurality of light signals; optical units 11 and 12 which are disposed opposite to the wavelength selection filter and contains a plurality of optical subassemblies respectively corresponding to the plurality of light signals; and a circuit board 14 having an electronic circuit to transfer electric signals to and from the plurality of optical subassemblies. The plurality of optical subassemblies and the circuit board 14 are connected each other by flexible circuit boards 15 and 16 combining branch portions respectively connected to the plurality of optical subassemblies and an integrated portion connected to the circuit board 14. The flexible circuit boards 15 and 16 have, in the branch portions, slots into which electric connection members of the optical subassemblies are inserted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver which is easy to connect and assemble a component and has a wavelength division multiplexing function.
      SOLUTION: The optical transceiver 1 carries out photoelectric conversion between a plurality of signal lights having a different wavelength mutually and a plurality of electric signals corresponding to the plurality of signal lights. The optical transceiver 1 comprises a wavelength select filter for combining and splitting waves of the plurality of signal lights, optical units 11, 12 containing a plurality of optical assemblies corresponding to the plurality of signal lights arranged opposite to the wavelength select filter, respectively, and a circuit board 14 mounting an electronic circuit for delivering the electric signal for the plurality of optical assemblies. The plurality of optical assemblies are connected to the circuit board 14 by flexible circuit boards 15, 16 on which a branch part connected to the plurality of optical assemblies, respectively, and a set part connected to the circuit board 14 are integrally formed.
