    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic display device with fewer defects of separation (crosstalk) between image information to be observed by a right eye and image information to be observed by a left eye to achieve excellent stereoscopic display.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic display device comprises a substrate, a polarization control plate, and an organic electroluminescent element. The organic electroluminescent element is an element for emitting light to the polarization control plate and the substrate and includes a right-eye organic electroluminescent element for displaying image information to be observed by a right eye and a left-eye organic electroluminescent element for displaying image information to be observed by a left eye. The polarization control plate can control the polarization state of incident light so that the polarization state of light coming from the right-eye organic electroluminescent element and the polarization state of light coming from the left-eye organic electroluminescent element are different from each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image display device which are superior in display characteristics.
      SOLUTION: The three-dimensional display device is provided with a substrate, having an organic electroluminescent element, a circuit to drive the organic electroluminescent element, and a polarization control plate. The organic electroluminescent element is installed between the substrate and the polarization control plate and emits light toward the polarization control plate and includes an organic electroluminescent element for right eye which displays image information to be perceived by the right eye and an organic electroluminescent element for left eyes which displays image information to be perceived by left eyes. The polarization control plate can control the polarization state of incident light so that the polarization state of light which enters and is transmitted from the organic electroluminescent element for right eye may be different from the polarization state of the light which enters and is transmitted from the organic electroluminescent element for left eye.
