A cured product of the dumbbell-shaped rotor-fixing resin composition based on JIS K7162 is manufactured as a test piece by heating and curing it at 175°C for four hours, while including thermosetting resin containing epoxy resin, a hardening agent, and an inorganic filler. An elongation rate (a) of the test piece to be obtained in a tensile test at a temperature of 120°C, with a test load of 20 MPa, for 100 hours is 0.1% or greater and 1.7% or less.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for fixation capable of actualizing a rotor core which has superior long-period reliability even in an environment of long-time, high-speed rotation at high temperature.SOLUTION: A resin composition for fixation includes a thermosetting resin (A), a hardener (B), and an inorganic filler (C), and is molded by injection under conditions of a metal mold temperature of 175°C, an injection pressure of 9.8 MPa, and a hardening time of 120 seconds using a molding machine so as to manufacture a molding of the resin composition for fixation which is 80 mm of length, 10 mm of width, and 4 mm of thickness. The molding is further hardened under conditions of 175°C and four hours so as to manufacture a hardened body, which is dipped in an ATF at 150°C for 1,000 hours. Here, a weight change rate calculated from (X2-X1)/X1×100 is -0.05 to 0.5%, where X1 is a weight of the hardened body before the dipping in the ATF and X2 is a weight of the hardened body after the dipping in the ATF.
