A position of the title bar 51 displayed at this time is a position which is lower than an upper side of the rectangular image display part 52, namely, a position where the image of the program has been displayed. When the user moves the mouse pointer P to the title bar 51 displayed in this way and performs a drag and drop operation, a display position of a program display part 41 is moved in accordance with the user's operation. This invention is applicable to equipment for displaying images of contents.
