    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve complete combustion of solid fuel, reduce heat loss to improve thermal efficiency, and improve durability by lowering the temperature of the inner wall of the combustion chamber.SOLUTION: A combustion device includes: a cylindrical combustion chamber 11 that is surrounded by an inner wall in a heat chamber 100 and burns fuel; a cooling chamber 13 that has a mid wall 14 on which a cooling water outlet and a cooling water inlet are formed and formed outside the peripheral edge part of the combustion chamber so that cooling water flowed into the space between an inner wall 12 and the mid wall 14 is made to cool the inner wall 12; and an outer wall 16 that is formed outside of the mid wall 14 of the cooling chamber in isolation and in which a combustion air supply opening 16a is formed to the upper side with combustion air supplied from outside. After the combustion air supplied through the combustion air supply opening 16a formed in the tangential direction of the cylindrical outer wall 16 descends while turning in the space between the mid wall 14 and outer wall 16, it is supplied into the opened combustion chamber 11 at the lower part. Thereby, combustion efficiency is increased and cooling of the inner wall 12 is made possible.
