    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with high reliability of connection, productivity, and workability.
      SOLUTION: The connector 1 is composed of a conductive plug pin 2 functioning as a central contact, an insulation housing 3 fixed to outside of the plug pin 2, and a conductive external contact 4 fixed to outside of the insulation housing 3. The plug pin 2 is fixed to the insulation housing by inserting and locking a locking claw 18 formed on a cantilevered beam-shaped locking beam 13 of the insulation housing 3 into a locking hole 14 formed on the plug pin 2. The locking claw 18 forms a protrusion part 19 crushed by an edge part 20 of the locking hole 14. A crimping connection structure is adopted for the connection structure of the connector 1 and a coaxial cable 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a coaxial cable for easily assembling constiting components.
      SOLUTION: The connector has a support member 1, having a tube 5 supporting a plug terminal (not shown) and a shield member 2, having a cover 11 covering an outer circumferential face of the tube 5, forms a tapered guide groove 9 guiding elastic pawls 13, 14 protruded toward an inner surface of a cylinder of the cover 11 by extending the guide groove 9 from a rear end toward a tip direction of the outer circumferential face of the tube 5, forms a locking groove 8 capable of locking the pawls 13, 14 onto the outer circumferential face apart from the tip of the guide groove 9. The locking groove 8 is formed, while having a slope on which the depth of the guide groove 9 on the locking groove side 8 is achieved the outer circumferential face of the tube 5 toward the locking groove 8, and the claws 13, 14 are made to fall into the locking groove 8, while a front end of the cover 11 is abutted on a flange piece 7 of the tube 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely connect an electric wire to a crimp terminal with a small pressing load by breaking a coating member by edges of a projection so as to bring walls and a core wire into contact with each other upon insertion of the electric wire under pressure. SOLUTION: A crimp terminal 10 comprises a contact portion 12 to be contacted with a counterpart terminal on one side, an electric wire pressing portion 13 on the other side and a pressure connection portion 11 between the portions 12, 13. In the pressure connection portion 11, an electric wire inserting groove 16 opened in the upper portion is defined by a bottom wall 14 and both side walls 15. Each of the side walls 15 is provided with projections 20, which are formed in positions facing to each other and each of which has wall portions 21, 22 continued to each other in a chevron shape, and a slit 24 on the top. Furthermore, blades 25, 26 are formed at the upper ends of the walls 21, 22, respectively. Moreover, edges 28, 29 are formed at corners where the blades 25, 26 cross the inner walls of the slit 24. When an electric wire 19 is inserted under pressure into the electric wire inserting groove 16, the edges 28, 29 abut against, bite to and break out a coating member 18. The walls 21, 22 and the top are brought into contact with a core wire 17, so that the electric wire 19 is electrically connected to the crimp terminal 10. Consequently, it is possible to securely connect the electric wire to the crimp terminal 10 with a small pressing load.

An exposed part at the bottoms of the pressure contact terminals 4, which is caused by the fixing pins 23, is covered by pressing and fusing a plurality of hole blocking pieces 7 simultaneously formed. Therefore, an operating efficiency can be enhanced, its manufacturing cost can be lowered, and concurrently, the pressure contact connector high in reliability can thereby be provided.

This facilitates waterproof and eliminates an idle plug for leakage proofing due to tire independent accommodating chamber even when a non-used chamber exists.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a favorable shield terminal for a coaxial cable capable of securing a fixing force necessary for the end part of the coaxial cable without enlarging the terminal. SOLUTION: The shield terminal 21 for the coaxial cable is provided with a pressure connection part 27 pressure-connected to the end part of the coaxial cable 10 and electrically connected to the braid 12 exposed to the end part of the coaxial cable 10. A reinforced connection part 28 extended from the both-side edges of the terminal bottom plate part 22 so as to have, at least, a half circumference or more winding angle along the outer circumference of the coaxial cable 10 is integrally formed between the braid crimp parts 25 and the sheath crimp part 26.
