摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated optical fiber unit division holder capable of holding a plurality of coated optical fiber units in a closure orderly, and performing work easily by taking out only a specific coated optical fiber unit.SOLUTION: A coated optical fiber unit division holder includes: an annular frame body 13 having a putting in/taking out port 19 of a coated optical fiber unit at one point in a circumferential direction; a rotation body 15 rotatably incorporated into the annular frame body 13, and including a plurality of accommodation recess parts 37 for accommodating a plurality of coated optical fiber units at intervals in the circumferential direction in an outer periphery part; and a lid 17 for sealing the putting in/takin out port 19. By rotating the rotation body 15 in the annular frame body 13 and matching one accommodation recess part selected arbitrarily from among the plurality of accommodation recess parts 37 of the rotation body with the putting in/taking out port 19 of the annular frame body, the coated optical fiber unit can be put in/taken out of the accommodation recess part 37 selected arbitrarily. When the coated optical fiber unit is not put in/taken out, the lid 17 is closed.

Therein, a connector 14 which connects the coated optical fiber 11a to the branch cable 13 is housed into a connector housing part 21 of a tray 20. An extra length of a branched coated optical fiber 15 deprived of jacket which is connected to a connector 14b of the branch cable 13 side is housed into a coated optical fiber extra length housing part 22 of the tray 20 and, at the same time, an extra length of the branch cable 13 covered with the jacket is housed into a branch cable extra length housing part 31 disposed on the lower side of the tray 20. SOLUTION: Among walls rising from the back plate 14 and surrounding the excess length housing sections 32A, 32B of coated optical fibers 50a, 52a on the opposing faces of a pair of walls 16b, 24a, 24b that face and are parallel, there are integrally formed narrow bulging pieces 34a, 34b, 36a, 36b in the longitudinal direction of the walls, obliquely bulging out, in a manner that a space from the back plate 14 gradually becomes larger. No bulging pieces are formed on the other opposing pair of walls 16c, 16d. By merely deforming a circularly shaped coated optical fiber 50a into an elliptical shape, putting it between the bulging pieces 34a and 36a, and releasing, the coated optical fiber 50a slips into the rear side of the bulging pieces 34a, 36a by elastic repulsion. The coated optical fiber 52a can also be similarly and simply housed. The diameter of the circular shape of the coated optical fibers 50a, 52a has a large tolerance which facilitates the operation.
