    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide refractory for slip casting construction, having high heat shock resistance, hardly causing crack, having a dense structure and capable of being constructed with low moisture content.SOLUTION: The refractory for slip casting construction contains AlOand SiOas main components, where total of AlOand SiOis 92 mass% or more and the content of AlOis in the range of 50 to 70 mass%. In the refractory for slip casting construction, 5 to 30 mass% of a high alumina spherical particle having the content of AlOin the range of 50 to 85 mass% and a repose angle of 32° or less is used in the refractory for slip casting and further alumina cement of 3 to 10 mass% is contained as a binder.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic refractory having small aging change using a phosphate based binder.SOLUTION: The plastic refractory contains a raw material containing a refractory aggregate, a refractory clay and a phosphate based binder, and organic acid and a diol compound. An addition amount of the organic acid is 0.5 to 3 mass% based on 100 mass% of the raw material as an external percentage. The addition amount of the diol compound is 0.5 to 4 mass% based on 100 mass% of the raw material as an external percentage. The organic acid preferably has 6 or less of carbon atoms and a ratio of the number of a carbon atom A and the number of an oxygen atom B in the organic acid (B/A) of 1≤(B/A)≤2, and 1 or more water soluble organic acid. Further the diole compound preferably is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a compound having 2 carbon atoms and a compound having 3 carbon atoms.
